Just an idea about space to ground starfighters.

I was wondering if hero's like Jerec can be commanding an SSD in space and be a lone Inquesitor on the ground can the same be done for starfighters  ? For example an X wing squadron is just a normal squadron in space but during a land battle it will act as an T 47 airspeeder squadron. I know this isnt needed for any faction but it just seemed like an intresting idea to me.

Theoretically you could just reskin the airspeeders and achieve a similar goal. However being able to code a ground and space fighter group together probably can't be done.
