Help with Starting a Multiplayer game
« on: February 21, 2016, 09:40:41 PM »
Hello, my friend and I are attempting to play a campaign. We are trying to use GameRanger to setup a LAN environment from which to run. The problem is, when my friend hosts the game, it starts FoC and not the mod. We both have the Gold version of the game on Steam and have set the path in Steam like the installation instructions say. Any help you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.

With Gameranger, you'd have to put the contents of the Imperial_Civil_War folder directly into the FoC data folder (to overwrite the base game).
I also have a YouTube channel where I talk about mod development and gaming, do tutorials, and Let's Plays. If you like the content, consider supporting it on Patreon

Thanks for that, worked like a charm. We spent hours last night trying to find out what we needed to do....
