I think they don't use them anymore is because our current enemy likes RPGs.

well choppers are quite vulnerable to ground fire. air planes, choppers and tanks have lost most of their potential because of the age of missiles, both long range and infantry based ones. infantry is once more the dominant force on the battlefield.

I do agree about the chopper part and maybe tank part but I do not agree about infantry being the "dominant force on the battlefield" for these reasons, but for others.
