Why not love both?
But personally I do prefer Legends despite the convolution of plot bunnies and bad stories, because it is more extensive and told the story of galaxies and the things that inhabited them, from millennia BBY to long after Return of The Jedi. It has a place in my heart, also because it's really what I grew up with.

« on: July 21, 2017, 04:37:19 AM »This is related to how we had to fix the era change crash. We think we've found a different workaround for it, so the GCs should conclude normally in any of our future EaW projects assuming it all pans out properly.

This is an issue for me in 2.1. Whenever you complete a GC in any faction it doesn't wrap up and show you how you did like in vanilla FOC.
Is this addressed in the 2.2 demo? I haven't finished a GC in it yet.
If not, it might be something to look into.

I think the Dark Empire arc was pretty good, but I mean, anything with a new freaking SSD gets a few free one-ups.

« on: July 19, 2017, 03:47:38 PM »I just wanted to say I've been playing your mod on and off since 2006 FoC and you guys are awesome. I was so angry at the Petroglyph for not making the eclipse star destroyer playable in galactic conquest but when I found this mod it was everything I wanted and more. I'm a huge fan of Timothy Zahn and his Thrawn Trilogy and I've got to say you guys made the GCs amazingly accurate fluff and fun. I also wanted to say I've been watching some of Corey's commentaries talking about how the ground battles aren't fun and that's an opinion not shared by everyone; I absolutely love what you guys have done with ground battles, the pacing is perfect and my only complaint is that there are some Imperial Remnant GCs without ground heroes because they make it so much better. I also have to mention the creativity of the Empire of The Hand, basically vague references in books that you turned into an amazing fleshed out faction! After coming back to the mod again all I can say is thank you so much for your time and effort in making Imperial Civil War the best mod I've ever played. If you guys need any support I would gladly donate.

185 Hours, around 40 of which was Thrawn's Revenge.

This trailer makes me shed some tears on what could have happen. I wanted to see what fully happened with Maul, but No we saw nothing because of Fucking Disney. I know some people hate the clone wars, but even then you cant deny the great episodes it had and the light saber fights. I just wish Disney could have just fucked off and let the series end so we could see the fight between Maul and Gervoious and such things like that.
also since the show reveal delta squad with all their names, they can be use in a Republic or imperial commando games

Update: I am sad because this season was cut down and with season 6-8 were basically canned into the lost mission episodes....

« on: July 19, 2017, 03:07:09 PM »Executor would win why is it has enough raw fire power to wipe out navy's single handle and with the tie fighters and bombers she win in a fight, this is how I do it stay be hide the Eclipse and have all my guns power fire at here engines and I be having my ship vertically 90° down so all my guns can hit and if need be able to jump out and jump back in right behind her aging never facing her bow.
While it is an unlikely scenario, it's nice to see someone who favors the Executor more than the Eclipse.
