pretty sure it is not. However, scaling is one thing i don't like about the mod. while i understand why the do it to Viscount/ Vengeance/ Executor Sovereign/ Eclipse, the fact that the 7200 meter Bellator is 200%+ longer than the 4800 meters Preater 2, which scale wise looks 2500 meters compared to the ISD doesn't make sense. if the game could handle it, i would fix the scales to be accurate, and the maps to go with it

still really love the mod though, keep up the work

oh, lovely how you set this up! a couple of things:

Durga, Sulamar, Taurill Overmind, and Levelisk would return Era 4 as they are the other half of the Darksaber plot which Era 4 revolves around

Azalus dreadnought would be nice heavy defense ship, but the Era 5 supership for them could be Azalus mk 2, which was built at fondor about the time of the Yuuzhan Vong  war, like Viscount, and would be a good extra element as the empire rose up.(Azalus MK2 is a YVaW ship for the hutt faction, about the size of Viscount. difficult to find/buy a model, but manageable)

that's why i was talking about a minor rebellion. former seperatist systems, a couple mostyl independent planets, and small bands of anti-imperial/Pro-Jedi groups that could unite into small rebellions on a couple outer-rim planets

not entirely true. a couple planets, dozens of clones, thousands of individuals, and an entire battalion of Republic troops(Rahm Kota's) were still Jedi sympathetic. rather than a jedi remnant, i can see some kind of early rebellion happening while the separatists were still around, before being crushed, and those survivors join the Alliance to tear down the empire. so, maybe a small rebellion with mostly smaller ships, but not substantial enough to be a threat unless you mess up really bad. also, it could only have obscure jedi, if any, in it

Also, in regards to the concept of snowballing.  Snowballing in any map/sandbox campaign is inevitable, and yes, it gets worse the more resources/territory is added to the map, but since it is an inevitability that the endgame will consist of you being unstoppable, I think the early game, and whatever variety, expanse, etc... you can put in it, is what is truly important.  I come from a background of modding in the Total War series, and there, the idea of extreme variety and individuality in each area of the campaign map was considered important not just so that the player encounters different things as they explore the map, but also so that starting as each faction in a game feels different and results in different experiences, allowing for increased replayability.  Sure, playing as the Pentastar Alignment or Empire of the Hand you would never encounter a faction like the Empire Reborn or the Centrality in a Galactic Conquest, because they are small factions, far away, that would likely get wiped out before you got there.  But that is what makes it a more interesting experience to then start a game as Maldrood or Zsinj.  You get to experience events or characters or factions that you would not while playing a different faction.  The more each faction's individual gameplay stands apart, the more reason a player has to try out the different factions and the play the game to explore all of its content.

that was what i was going to say. while none of these should be major factions, and would be weird to have, these minor factions going around starting with 1 planet and killing each other fits the story. also, gives more options for say FTGU, where we could through these in as well and have to fight them.

Warlord, i love your ideas, but a suggestion: get with Lord Xizer, he is making a submod, and maybe you can work with him to work this into a submod. i'm pretty sure he would enjoy helping as well, since he likes adding depth to the game

so, my scenario is there is a partial success, Cronus still loses and goes into hiding, but Luke takes the mantel of emperor, determined to merge it with the republic. at the same time, Thrawn learns of his heritage, and chooses to support him. Borsk and others throw Luke, Leia, Han, and all their supporters(including the RRTF, Ackbar, Mon Mothma, Ackbar's fleet, and part of the the Mon Calamari, who are forced to flee) and take power, continuing the war. the Empire of the Hand quickly hits Entralla, taking over the PA, and establish the Skywalker empire in 6 ABY, at the start of this timeline for the mod.

main factions:

  Imperial Remnant. lead by a multitude of leaders, mostly former warlords, it is determined to restore the Empire to it's former glory
  New Republic. lead by Borsk Feylya and later others, it is a militaristic republic determined to destroy the empire.
  Skywalker empire: lead by Luke, it is the home of the New Jedi Order, as well as true democracy. it is comprised of the True republic remnant, the EoTH, the PA, and the Jedi. main storyline faction

minor factions:
    Greater Maldrood(playable): lead by Truetan and Kosh teradoc, it is the largest fragment outside of the IR+Zsinj. it's core forces are centered around the Crimson Command Fleet, lead by Treutan teradoc and currently being expanded on by this faction
    Duskhan League(playable): obnoxious invaders, they attack everyone, trying to purge the galaxy.
    Warlords(semi-playable): only playable as Ciutric hegemony, Eriadu/Kampe authority, and a couple others, the rest non-playable, the Walords are the minor imperial factions(other than Maldrood)

as for the infinities, it will be the Skywalker Empire, inspiration for it coming from Shadows of Mindor. will elaborate later when i come back to this. it is 10:30 where i am, and i just got back from camp. 6 weeks left
