Magical Girl Madoka is intense, it's a take off the "magical girl" animes. Really deep.
Penguindrum is a slow, but builds up to a crazy backstory for all the characters.
Kill la Kill is silly amazing stylized action. It's a blast!

If you like Attack on Titan, you might like Claymore. Gruesome.

In defense of SOGE, Lavo is literally one man team. SOGE doesn't have the big team that TR does, thus it is not going to be polished up to the level that I expect a TR release would be.

In the choice between either longer releases or lacking polish, SOGE is obviously releasing more frequently and getting feedback. A lot of changes are a result of feedback from the beta testing.

Lavo has not been able to reproduce this titan bug, but has acknowledged this on Moddb and requesting more information

Regardless of this, if you have a save file of right before, or even right after (the former is preferred), you tried to build the titan, please upload it somewhere and send it to me. This way I can look into it, and see if it's truly an issue with the mod itself or not; there is always a possibility that I have missed something, as the system is not perfect.

Can you cut Lavo some slack and work with him on debugging this? Because he is trying to work with you.

Digital is all simple, no need to even redownload. It's all saved to a backup drive. I don't even need to find a DVD, find a DVD key, wait for the thing to copy. Plus digital saves material - no need for paper manuals, plastic DVDs, and cardboard boxes.

Two cents.

I've never gotten any spam from Steam (though I don't sign up for any newsletters, deals, etc).
Password is only issue, but it's hard to get away from every service that has their own login system these days. Every website, every social network, go figure.

Wonder who's side of the family tree, Jacen's or Jaina's. I didn't follow Legacy too much (just not into the comics) but I wonder if Ep7/8/9 will make this all mute anyway. I guess we'll see

are they trying to destroy Karen Traviss's contributions to Star Wars
Yes, that is why she stopped writing any more Commandos novels.

The retcon of the Mandalorians complete contradicted the history developed in the Karen Traviss novels, making her leave the series. I totally enjoyed her atmosphere of the Mandalorians, so I pretty much hate the show for doing that. But whatever GL says goes...

Well the only development from Ironclad is Rebellion, an expansion. I don't think you'll see a whole lot of changes in terms of graphics. Really the Sins engine is pretty decent for its age, but I could see some new graphics for a completely new engine.

If you're talking about a new SW spaceship game, then there's no news on that. I'd expect there won't be anything any time soon, given the lack of support from EaW.

Yes it's a steep curve, there's no real tutorial mode or single player storyline mode. You have to go in and start playing. Fortunately the AI isn't too brutal and you can start out with fairly small maps and work up.

There are two Star Wars mod,
- Requiem, which is meant to addon SW races to the existing ones
- Sins of a Galactic Empire, which is meant to be a total conversion, SW races only

We happen to be hosting SOGE too, but the most frequent updates are usually the forums - http://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/411648

Man I love what Crystal Dynamics did with the Tomb Raider games. I did enjoy Republic Commando, I could see them doing more in that era. I'm hoping for another Mirror's Edge, a new C&C (to go back to the original gameplay and not the C&C 4 junk), and maybe something that could reach the epic scale of the original Supreme Commander (the sequel was such junk). I want to see more of Beyond Good and Evil 2 than just a teaser CGI.

I haven't kept up on gaming rumors, so I don't have any idea what is likely.

Hey guys, getting together some players for a guild

If you're interested:

I've decided to go Sith Empire. I expect my preorder to start on early play the 13th.

Going to start a casual guild - all Sith Empire players are welcome to join.
My main character will be a Sith Inquisitor. It will probably be a PvE west coast server, however everyone is welcome to join.
Not going to be hardcore raiding or PvP.. just getting together people in the SWR community to play.

Anyone else playing? Have an idea for a guild name?

I'll post when I know which server is available.

(And if someone wants to run a Republic guild, go ahead. I don't expect to play a whole lot of Republic, but would be fun to do, even if we don't have a whole lot of chances to play together)

Ah that's cool. Looking forward to whatever project you decide on

I'm not surprised, given the availability of models and the strategic nature of Sins.

I know SOGE has much of the NR and Vong already implemented - they just need to be polished. With Sins:Rebellion coming out, I'd expect there to be a lot more work to be done. Would love some collaborative help on that.

Of course, you're more than free to work on your own mod. Lavo from SOGE and GoaFan77 from Requiem mod would be good people to talk to.
