its quite simple.
Look for: Mods\ICWBeta\Data\XML\DifficultyAdjustments.xml
there you can find the difficulty multipliers for the AI.

yeah. please don't add any artificial balance to make the Vong vessels roughly the same power as the NR/GA counterparts. Leave em stronger.

I don't want to necro and old thread, and a quick search has been inconclusive.
How does the team feel about introducing Uglies in later Versions of the mod, and in what capacity could they be used? Talking about Chir'dakis and X-Ceptors and the likes. Stuff thats incredibly cheap to massproduce, which shows in their combat capabilities.
Thoughts?

E: Another thought: shielded TIE/IN with Hyperdrives for heroes that get spawned when their capital ship gets destroyed, as done by apwar trigit in wraith squadron by aaron allston?

It's horribly unbalanced! Most Vong units are able to mostly kill their counterparts in a 1 vs 1!
It's perfect!

Just giving pirates a mix of factions fighters would work - A9s next to X-Wings next to TIEs, for example.

UGLIES! Much time in the Legends universe is spent with describing different chopjobs of starfighters mixed together! X-Ties! DIE-Wings! TIE-Balls! X-Ceptors! the chir'daki!
So much variety, in the GCW Era.
Not really sure what can be done in CW, i'm poorly informed about this era. I know Cloakshapes and Z95s are from this time, but that's about it.

Can you load the skirmish mode in the 2.2 Demo?
The game closing upon clicking the skirmish button seems to me like an issue with reading one of the mods files, or perhaps, as corey has suspected, some rogue files in the data folder. nothing should go in there, ever. i know that some versions of awakening of the rebellion, however, load something into those folders.

Easiest thing to try would be to try a fresh installation of the game with the latest patch applied, installed into a different folder than the default path.

Yeah, AotR was pretty good when it worked. Didn't like the AI cheating and  spawning free units though. Looking forward to 2.7
Otherwise, PR is probably my favourite mod. Been playing that since the skirmish/starfighter minirelease.

Both airports and train stations generally don't move, and are a hotspot in terms of risk for bombs and such.

Ships, on the other hand, tend to move.
The german Wasserschutzpolizei has a K9 unit, and they're sometimes used along with the Zoll K9 units to inspect incoming cargoships in the german high seas ports. This is within legal bounds.
Out of experience i can tell you that the cruise terminal in Hamburg also gets a Zoll K9 unit sometimes, when boats arrive from cruises in the caribbean.
You'll not see K9s onboard of cruiseships, as the police or customs or whatever would need a courts order to even be allowed onto the boat to search it.
