Hey Pox,

I was able to find my login info. Never uploaded a game file before, would be able to tell me what to do to be able to upload the game file, or where to find it. I tried to follow the same path that the Defreezer has but all I see are slot1 sav, slot 2 sav, etc, and am not sure that is what you need.

Congrats on getting your account back. I have reattributed your guest posts to your account so you get the post-count benefits. ~Slornie

Discussion, Suggestions & Feedback / Help finding Mod
« on: July 07, 2014, 05:46:26 PM »
Hello everyone,

I am seeking help on a different topic. I while back I played a Mod that I truly loved and am unable to locate it again. I read on a forum that I was Fall of the republic V1 or V2, but am not entirely sure, the only thing I can do is describe it a little. One big difference was the Zann Consortium was a playable faction, the ships scaled smaller, the hard points looked different. One big difference was that the Republic had the Mc104, Mc90. The Empire had for I believe Piet's or Thrawn's a Xr-200 looking ship, also a Square looking capital ship. The Zann Consortium had the Aggressor Destroyer that when it fired it looked the same as the Pulse Cannon tank. Aside for these differences most units where the same.

Please! Help! I really want to play this mod again.

I don't know if this has been suggested but, I think it would be cool if all the ships where scaled down just a bit. Also, I think It would be nice to have your fleet closer to your space station or defensive platforms when you are defending against an attack, as well as the opponents ships when you are attacking, and why are the ships so spread out, just wondering. I've had fleets that are so spread out when I am defending that by the time I regroup my fleet I lost half of my support ships.

Just a suggestion guys, I still really like this mod and I appreciate all the hard work you guys are putting into it.  ;D ;)

A separate issue is that I cannot log into my account here, I have requested my password to be reset, but I have not received an email, for now that is not a priority. I can email the file just need an email address please.

Hello again,

So I decided to start a new game playing the Imperial Remnant, currently with Palpatine as the leader. In a space battle where I have a Sovereign, SSD, two Praetor's II, and several other support ships, I was able to start the game just fine but as soon as the enemy reinforcements started to warp in the ability to select my new ships as well as indicating what ship to target began to fail. Note I created a different save file to test the defreeze on it, for example Thrawn/ Emp Med 2.

I defreezed the alternate file Thrawn/ Emp Med 2 after if froze, but it crashes as soon as it loads the game. Does it mater if I save the game in mid battle? other wise I would have to let the battle run it's course(lose or win) and then try to defreeze it. To answer the question, I bought the games separately, Star Wars Empire At War, and later Star Wars Empire At War Forces of Corruption.

That particular one I did not. I have a previous save, I try to do multiple in for each game. How would I do the back up once it freezes? I am playing another one and would like to know just in case it happens again.

I have a question for you. I've played this Mod before and I love it, however, now I'm not able to play it on my Windows 7 Laptop, before I had Windows XP. I believe it is because I have a different Net Framework which is 4.5.1. Any ideas on how I can get this mod to work on my laptop??

Thanks for all your hard work guys! I did download the patch to defreeze the game and I was able select my ships after that, however, every time I try to load that particular save it crashes after 10 seconds. Does this issue occur regardless of what faction you are playing with? I do not recall having this issue with Empire of the Hand or Imperial Remnant.

Either way guys, once again thank you all, not only for creating this mod, but also for all your efforts guys. Best mod I've played.

I have recently came across a similar problem. After building up a fleet of considerable size, every time the AI attacks with Empire of the Hand, or Imperial Remanent, I am unable to select any of my ships as I start the battle, so I have to let it run its course. I have the same issue when I attack, I usually send one ship first, then I warp in whatever ship I want later, but now most of my ships just warp in and am unable to select any. I tried letting the error fix or correct itself, but nothing happened. At this point do I just start from the begging? I am at a loss. I haven't been able to beet the game ever.  :'(
