So i noticed today that the Yaga Minor in From the Ground Up has 1 unindentified ship with missing tooltip and it deploys unindentified fighters.I assume that was the "cut out" ship for pentastar?
providence was it or am i thinking something else? and the tooltip/icon for the fighters looked like CiS tri droid fighter? i was so excited to see these units in the game so i rushed to start off art of war to see if they were era specific thingies but to my disapointment i didnt see them in the build list,which led me into quickly reading through the manual alot of sadness followed
as for the CiS Tridroid fighter lookalikes,they seem to be bit too sturdy in the from the ground up. im not sure if that was intended or not but i dont see how 1 squadron should be able to tank a victory star destroyer missiles+2 Munificients+2 patrol ships+venator+like 6 squadrons of bombers/fighters it took roughly 2mins to kill one squadron with game on "fast foward" mode
but uhh in short what happened to the providence look alike thingy for pentastar? ive been gone abit and if it was informed somewhere i aplogize for lack of knowledge!

i never really understood why the AI insisted so hardly on defending the shipyards when they sometimes and have way superior fleet,not to mention its so dull to see ships floating towards shipyards instead of engaging you.
i would understand if they did this with golans or something,but this just seems bit over the top silly for exsample for praetor to move defend shipyards :l

A question, though, why didn't you take Hakassi to get Pellaeon?Hakassi has quite strong ground forces on Admiral difficulty especialy when you just have walkers and stormtroopers i could play the cheap way and use scouts+bombardments/bombing runs to take them out,but i dont consider that really much fun and i also consider hakassi worthless to take at this stage since you lack the resources to defend it as Kuat is right next to it most likely having Endurances waiting to attack in coming weeks
so in general its more so of a rush to the SSD and hope for the best before new republic overwhelms me
i hope that makes sense my english is not very good

Hi
i was wondering is there specific starting locations for AI heroes?as in same way as players start in the GC?or just randomly generated planet where they spawn? cause sometimes i feel like i scourge throught whole galaxy and still cant find imperial leader
would be nice to know the starting locations for each leader/their travel path and if not anything else just confirmation its random

got a couple of suggestions that ive been thinking throught in my head not sure what you think of them thought,so well see!
Since pentastar aligment lacks a reliable scout/spy unit in galactic map,would it be possible to lets say make "Listening/Scanner outposts" for them?could for exsample replace the standard shield generator as a building and would take a building slot+expensive price,and could work something along lines of the bothawui spynet work thats currently in game,but since im not a modder myself i suspect theres some limitations engine/editing wise :l
as for other suggestion i was thinking,maybe http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tavion_Axmis could be added for imperial remnant/pentastar as recruitable hero from korriban or something similiar,consider her disciples were backed by some remnant faction it could work for either one i think,just something to think about could be considered also as one of the pentastar era change heroes perhaps?

« on: February 10, 2013, 09:36:56 AM »We intend to make another GC of that style with the PA in it, however since the layout would need to be pretty diferrent and there's no problem with how FTGU functions, we're just making it its own new GC. the PA will be in FTGU in all but name.
if i got hit by a car right now,i would die as a happy man knowing this!

i would like to see Pentastar Aligment added to the GC mode:From the Ground up and possibly some way to scout planets?since i dont recall seeing the imperial probe droid or "stealth fleet" units
another thing i would like to see is "events" like Katana fleet from thrawn campaign

talking about fleet commanders i do recall seeing over 300 fleet commanders over Mon Calamari in the past so scrap that.

Hello gentlebeings of Thrawn?s Revenge forums
i have arrived with few questions and possibly suggestions(if its allowed in these forums)
the mod is glorious! amazing! 5/5! but ive noted these few things while playing
1)From the ground up mode,i love this galactic conquest mode to bits but i just wish there was one in similiar size to Art of War or well just little more to it
2)From the ground up mode,would it possible to enable minor heroes?or planet specific units? exsample Noghri Death commandos and err not sure but i recall seeing Fleet commanders in earlier versions/patches of this mod,would love to have those around
3)also loving the fact that you can gain factorys/barracks from conquering certain planets(corulag etc) could this be applied to ships? kinda far fetched thing i have in mind but would it be possible for exsample new republic to gain 1-2 victory star destroyers from taking kuat/byss and along same lines for rest of the factions?
