Discussion, Suggestions & Feedback / How can I disable those third fleets from spawning?

Hi,
Absolutely love this mod and the way it plays, with one exception -
Those never-to-be-sufficiently-cursed third-party fleets that randomly appear sometimes to scotch a perfectly good battle. For one thing, they always spawn where the attacker does so the defender is at a massive advantage. For another, I'm sorry to say that I just can't bring myself to find them fun - I'm happy fighting the people I'm supposed to be fighting, and it leads to me Save-scumming in case they turn up - I just then reload the save if they do and fight the battle properly.
With that in mind, is it possible to turn them off somehow in the config files? I have heard previously it was done by editing InvadingFleet.lua to reduce the attack_chance, however the values appear different...that thread was from 2012 and I imagine the mechanics have been jiggled about a bit since then, because in my InvadingFleet.lua the value is already at zero(!?).
Any help here would be appreciated
