Hi All,
Anyone know what is up with the purple fleets that randomly show up when you are attacking as Eriadu in the 11 ABY GC.

Basically ruined my playthrough as i hadn't saved in a while and got smacked by one in a close fight with the new republic. I saw them show up like 5 fights in a row, and the last one was 4 isd2s and maybe 6 other ships.

Based on how hard eriadu already is, these attacks are not fun or interesting in any way. Doesn't say anywhere in game what they are or how to stop them.

Any info would be helpful.

Hi All,
Anyone have a recommendation for best version of the game to run on steam?
I have been bouncing all over after using a bunch of mods (Star Trek, Interegnum, sins of galactic empire)

Should we just run most up to date version?

The issue with the titans in this mod is that all AI fire seems to go to highest HP pool target. So if you roll in with that large fleet, and watch the damage coming in, all your cruisers and flagships will be fine, but your titan will be getting crushed.

You need to keep it behind a line of screening dreadnoughts or other front line cruisers like victory 2s. Another reason I always take the sovereign as you can hit with an initial superlaser at the biggest target, and hang back while it recharges. There may even be some range advantage with executor due to huge numbers of concussion missile launchers.

And altor fleet tenders are your friends!

Hi All,

Relative to vanilla sins, where carrier spam, hangar defense and just fighters in general are epic, I have had a lot of trouble getting good value from carriers used in any capacity. Whether it is taking a few of the smaller ones, or building dedicated carrier capital ships.

I tried with rebels and haven't played a ton with the Hand, but would give them another go (lack of titan is a huge drawback for the big matches I enjoy the most).

Any advice on getting good value via target selection, split between fighters and bombers (I've tried all bombers and 50/50 splits and eventually just gave up and went 100% defensive with all fighters as I didn't feel like I was doing any serious damage with bombers) or fleet composition?

Also the way that damage is applied in this game (when shot is fired), makes it hard to tell when bombers are actually doing any damage... any better way to judge effectiveness?

And are they better vs. shields or hull?

Really any guidance from anyone who uses fighters and bombers a lot in this mod would be great!
