Great suggestion Cory. Thanks that fixed the slow loading times.
I rarely relied on autosave before so this work around was perfect for me.

I have noticed an issue with the 2.2.4 Thrawn's Revenge update.
Playing the "art of war"
Faction: Eriadu Authority
When loading into a conflict in space or ground battle the game appears to freeze for about 3-5 mins before resuming.
Prior 2.2.3 did hang a little but not nearly at long at 2.2.4

CPU: i7 2.79GHz
Ram: 12GB
OS: Win 7 64
Video: GeForce GTX 980
EAW FOC: Steam
