You haven't tried Pentastar FTGU with Balance and Flavor. It is really tough because you don't get to build ANYTHING even barely good until you get to Yaga Minor. All you can get on Bastion (besides your starting ships) are Enforcers, IECs, IPVs, and Interdictors. Dubrillion and Muunilinst (among other former CIS worlds) unlock Munificents and Missile Munificents (Munificents with most weapons replaced with missile launchers) but those are barely usable by the time you get there as the Remnant is coming at you hard with ISDs and VSDs.
My best joke fleets are 20 Carracks and 20 Lancers, god is it a slaughter for my foes.
Three times in a row I got the you can't retreat for four minutes event. So that led to my fleet all dying by Zsinj. I just worked on killing his other heroes while his SSD wiped me. Killed like 3 of his space heroes one battle but after that I had to restart because the NR took my southern planets right after.
Has anyone gotten multiplayer mods to work for people that play between the Steam Version and the CD Retail version?
We were able to get the games to play the vanilla game by using the MP lobby fix but we couldn't seem to get it to work for any mods that we attempted to play by coping the files for the mod into the data folder.
