Imperial Civil War Tech Support / 2.2 demo stuck on the loading screen and makes my computer unusable

I just downloaded the icw 2.2 demo, it gets stuck on the loading screen for 3 minutes and stops me using any other stuff on my computer, can't even access task manager, tried to close it via toolbar but the that doesn't work and now I'm stuck trying to restart my computer any ideas ?

Imperial Civil War Tech Support / byss crashes the game

while playing as the pentastar allignment on the essence of war map, the game crashes every time i win the land battle on byss, if it helps, im in era 2 and the emperor is on the planet, it crashed twice after i killed him.

When using the galactic map to move units to other planets, or to separate them into new groups, they either disappear or are completely unresponsive. I can still make new units but I can't move them anywhere. It seemed to start at the end of a space battle when I called in reinforcements but after they arrived, they would shoot normally but I couldn't select them at all.
