The REAL fans seem to be all saying the same thing!!Yeah I've been pretty worried since everyone seems to be creaming their pants over the Force Awakens, which I think is because they have some kind of Stockholm syndrome from how much they hated the prequels and they loved all the fan service and cheesy nostalgia. I don't think the next will be much better based on how the next movies have to build upon the previous movies. Movie wasn't original at all and seemed ironically to be a commentary on the state of filmmaking in 2015, everything now is a cliche rehash of some old franchise or attempt to cash in on nostalgia value. Force Awakens really seemed like the Star Wars equivalent of Jurassic World, especially in regards to the new villain, it was just a "bigger, badder" attempt at the old villain.
The new characters ( excluding Poe ) are SO boring!!!! Poe was the best new character. Han and Chewie saved the movie for Me. Kylo is kinda a bitch... But He does remind Me of Anakin though sooo maybe they were going for that? Idk. The plot was as others have said the same as Episodes 4 and 6 and many EU plots, blow up Death Star I, II, Galaxy Gun etc.
I would much rather have seen a movie about the EU characters and not this horrible J. J. Abrams attempt to be idk original? Was He trying to be original? Idk. Give Me Jacen, Jaina, Lowbacca, Tenel Ka, Anakin ( jr ) and the rest of the EU back PLEASE!!!!
Maybe the next one will be better... I hate you J. J. Abrams....

At least tell me it wasn't just lens flare after lens flare for special effects (have to ask since it's JJ).Suprisingly there actually wasn't any lens flare that I can remember
In fact, I cought myself thinking the same thing myself and I want to make a mod out of it, but with only one condition if you agree. Imperial units only buildable on certain Imperial planets and only in era 1 and 2.It'd be best if you do I'm a complete noob when it comes to any kind of modding
In Era 1 it makes sense somewhat as they still had plenty of Imperial gear left from when Palpatine funded them, and in Era 2 because Thrawn is the leader and he would definitely support his empire.
After that Palpatine just did not care, and the others never knew about it until... well... you know. But by that moment they did not used the not too well aged Imperial gear.
And don't even count to have SSDs. It was not the Hand's style.
Should I start now or give you instructions on how to do that yourself so you can have it to your own taste?
