Thats right (Your one of the few people who I've seen actually who know that ;D), But over the years, the Normans adapted to French culture and they spoke French (The Normans are part of my heritage). So, the issue of if he was a Frenchman is debatable... A better example of the French being Kick-A$$ is Joan de Arc.

Britain would never side with the EU, especially against the US. Maybe an Irish invasion would bring them on their knees though ;)... LOL

french empire hahahahahahahaha thats just plain rediculos thyat like the frech declaring war
You kiddin? one sign of a fight and they'll raise the white flag

Well, the French haven't always been pacifists when it comes to war. 1: Napoleon Bonaparte, 2: Their Victory over the English in the 100 Years War, 3: 1066 William the Conqueror's invasion of England...

And if that's the quality of their weaponry we don't have anything to worry about.

Actually their quality of weaponry is not bad, not as good as the US, but better the Great Britain's. They have more nukes then GB...

They also don't have the world hating them...

If "Magna Britannia" were to ever fall, it would be an internal issue. Such as, ignoring the will of the Welsh and Scottish people. Or their own...

I'm just writing this along other topics. Just the Idea of while the USA and Great Britain are wasting themselves over in Iraq, what has been happening in France??? If you notice, while the US and GB are cutting funds to their militaries while fighting a war on "terror", France has been putting money into theirs. While, also not by force, they are also dominating the EU. It seems as if the "Republique du France" is developing an "Empire by Peace". Just a thought ;).....

For the longest time (during the Cold War) Europe was kissing the A$$ of the USA to keep forces in for their own protection against Communism. France was the first one to break away from that and the rest of Europe is following. Rumsfeld didn't help matters by straining relations with them... There are a few European countries who like the USA though, like Great Britain, Italy, Spain, etc...
