Title: Error "Exception has occurred" (ICW 2.2.5.1)

Hello,

I have an error message that appear sometime :

- When I try to save my actual conquest (Essence of War), it appear approximately once on 5.

- When I'm in a space battle, the game become laggy and it freeze with this error. Not always but sometime.

- When I tried to install the 2.2.5.2 version, and launched the game, it freeze instantly with this error.


Notice : It's Gold Pack CD version well patched, with only one mod (ICW).


So in each case, the game freeze and when I "Alt + TAB" to desktop, I have this error message (See the picture).
And if I quit or press cancel or press retry, the game crash.


any idea ?

Hey, I was having the same issue, but upon start up of the mod. After much hair pulling and dancing I found a "Vista" patch that solved my issue.

Give it a shot. I've gotten the game to atleast load now.

Hey,

What version of the mod do you have ? the previous 2.2.5.1 or the current 2.2.5.2 ?

I own the CD so I'm guessing 2.25.
