Not sure if this is how this should be done, if not then I apologize.
I downloaded the new version today and set it up like I did the previous versions, however, when I try to run the mod, I only get a white screen and after a bit, an exception error occurs, then a crash if I tell it to retry. I have not had trouble running 2.1 or the 2.2 demo, so I'm fairly certain I'm setting it up right and my laptop can handle it, so I'm really at a loss here.
( Windows 10 and the CD version, if it matters)

Oh, I just made a thread for the exact same issue.
-
This is generally caused by another mod's AI files being installed to the Data folder for the base game, which interferes with all other mods, sometimes causing crashing. To resolve this, go into your corruption\Data\XML folder and delete the folders named AI and Enum if they exist.
-
Sorry, but I don't have any files like that, at least not there.
-
Try installing this: http://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-empire-at-war-forces-of-corruption/downloads/windows-vista-and-windows-7-fix

That's done it. Thank you, and sorry for taking your time.
-
Thank you Corey, that fixed it for me too.

How it work:
1. Download the RAR. File
2. Unzip it with WINRAR (or 7zip, your choise)
3. Unizp the file into the main Directory folder of Star Wars Empire at War.("C:Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption") Or were ever you installed the game.
4. Replace it with the new one.
5. Play the game and have fun!
