Just learnt about Thrawns Revenge about a week ago. I have been playing as PA and EotH.

 Started imperial Remnant game. Mostly mucking around and testing out new units. My favourite fleets in era 2 is a handful of lancer frigates and Tie defender and scimitar spam.

 With all factions I tend to develop the economy 1st.  Early on I try to be tactical later on Soviet style auto resolve.

My basic fleets.
Pentastar
Megador star destroyer plus venators

Empire of the Hand
Furions plus karieks
Ascendant class plus chaf plus carriers

Imperial Remnant
TIE Defenders, lancers scimitars

I don't trust auto-resolve to not screw me over, lol, unless it's a ground battle that I'm too frustrated to play myself and just want to wear the enemy down...

It is nice to see another hardcore economist player out there.
Other than that, welcome to the mod and then forums.
Hope you will have a good time here. The Defender spam is one of the nastiest tactics out there considering how OP they are in both (Legends) canon and the mod.

 Tried a no capital ship game as the IR. Well turns out that TIE defender spam+carracks works well.
