Title: Probe Droids

Ever considered creating a ground unit for the probe droid? Possibly with a sensor ping ability to help scout land maps.

That's actually a pretty smart idea. I'm sure it would be easy to do, like give it the Sensor Probe's mechanics and add Probe Droid sounds to it and make a Probe Droid Model. It'd be a great addition, but it's up to Corey and the rest of the Team to decide on that idea. (Sensor Probes are spawned as a secondary unit for MPTLs (Mobile-Proton-Torpedo-Launchers) for the Rebellion/New Republic.)

On one hand I think the idea is cool, on the other hand, sensor ping makes bombing runs and orbital bombardments completely op.

True.... Here's my solution only make the AoE (Area of Effect) thing last for about 4.5 seconds so players wouldn't be able to do Bombing Runs and Orbital Bombardments but only to SCOUT like Probe Droids were meant to also do!

I am pretty sure I have seen this kind of "feature" in other mods, but it does seem interesting given that Episode 5: ESB did have probe driods actively scouting on the ground for the Rebel Base.
