Forgive me if this has already been answered, or this information is available on this board already..
But, I did search for it, and was unable to find the info on it.
The in-game Tector, and it's Hard points differ to some degree from ISD1's and/or ISD2's.
My question is, in what way do they differ? Do they have separate in-game models?
I'm unfamiliar with the differences between ISD1's and ISD2's to begin with, and Tector's only makes it more complex! :P
Once again, I'm sorry if this is not the right board to ask this, or if I'm rehashing a previously asked question!! Thanks!

The difference in ISD I and II is their armament. ISD II has much heavier armament. ISD II is much better against Capital ships, while ISD I fares a bit better against smaller ones with it's ion cannons. Important to note that they both come with fighters.
Tector on the other hand, has no fighter escort, but has much heavier armament than ISD Is, and a similarly powerful but different use than ISD II.

The Tector was basically a ship that was meant to fight off the Mon Calamari ships that joined the Rebellion late in the Galactic Civil War. I like to consider them as the predecessor to the Allegiance-Class Battle Cruiser because both focus on more armor and on weaponry. One thing in common is that both have no fighter support, thats basically the only similarity and the differences are that the Allegiance is bigger, it has more weapons, and it's heavier than the Tector as far as armor.

Tectors were used during Clone Wars, way before Mon Calamari joined Rebel Alliance, way before any Rebel Alliance.

ISD-1 and Tectors were contemporaries of each other. ISD (at the time just ISD) was designed more as a general purpose can do anything ship that's very good at capital ship combat while being able to field fighters and capture enemy ships.
Tector was produced in FAR fewer numbers, and was desinged more as a pure combat vessel that was incapable of functioning independently of a fleet. While is was significantly more powerful than it's brother in capital ship combat, and had far stronger hull, it was incapable of fielding any starfighter screen, and wasn't as effective at capturing (less Ion cannons) enemies. Outside of combat, it wasn't really an effective vessel, thereby why it was produced in such smaller numbers.
