We've all got our own tastes... well, except for Empire, which we all agree is the best, because DUH. ;)

I think its impossible to make a star wars movie better then Empire.

RotJ has just always been my favorite. That space fight is still the epitome of space fights for me.
Honestly, I love them all and 2-5 were especially hard for me to rank... I even liked AotC, just not that much lol.

RotS and RotJ are definitely two of my favorite movies period, too. And kudos for putting Empire so much lower on the list than 90% of SW fans would ever do; I don't necessarily agree with that ranking, but I'm happy to see you didn't hold back. Gives me some things to think about.
Jeeze, though, just so hard to rank SW movies... I feel like I'm betraying some of them by not letting them share spots.

Opinions on my ranking?
It's pretty much how I think they rank (although I agree that it can be hard, ranking films you love), and I have several friends for whom RotJ is their favorite Star Wars film, so I'm totally accepting of that, even if I'm not necessarily a fan of that film myself. As long as it's an original trilogy film on top, I'm fine with it, lol. Great list, jedicharliej, thanks for sharing!

I really like all movies about Rebels vs Empire. Prequel trilogy is at least something different with some good stuff. Sequel is just big disappointment. Just Rebels 2.0 vs Empire 2.0 but everything is bigger. Old legends stuff after Endor are much better. Damn, I want to see movies about Yuuzhan Vong invasion or Thrawn trilogy. :-\
