J.J. Abrams, who launched a new era of Star Wars with The Force Awakens in 2015, is returning to complete the sequel trilogy as writer and director of Star Wars: Episode IX. Abrams will co-write the film with Chris Terrio. Star Wars: Episode IX will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Abrams, Bad Robot, and Lucasfilm.

Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20, 2019.

I can't say I'm thrilled. Thoughts?

Finn's running through the collapsing Mega SSD, looking for his wife. He finds her standing over Ren's body. The auidiance didn't even know they were fighting.

"How did you kill him?" Finn asked. Rey's face turns into Orange Yoda.
"A good question for another movie." She replies. It ends.

A large white banner appears on screen.
"STAY AFTER THE CREDITS FOR STAR WARS EPISODE X TRAILER"

my version: Turns out at the last minute Iden Veriso, Thrawn, and a Imperial Commander played by Kit Harington bust in the middle of the battle with a Imperial and chiss fleet. They Destroy both the Resistance and First order fleets. And the survivors our force to flee.

And spoiler alert Kit Harington
s character falls in love with a resistance defector who joins this new Empire. (still a better love story then twilight)
Cool idea?(probably not)

Jar Jar Abrams version: LENS FLARE INSDIE LENS FALRE WITH EXTRA LENS FLARE (Name of the ripoff return of the return of the Jedi script he writes with more lens flare)
