Nice simple one here folks. I am pretty sure the thermal detonator doesn't need to take down three companies worth of armour every time it's used (yes, I am wholly aware I'm massing my armour too closely...) and I think a nerf may be in order. Thoughts, comments, agree, disagree? You know where it goes.

This has been nerfed since 2.1/the 2.2 demo. It was still using vanilla values before, now the range and damage are both lower.

You're actually answering my wave of posts at the same rate I'm laying them. You sir, require a freaking medal :)

Um, I'm using the 215 edition; they still seem quite powerful at the moment. I lost a company of sabres, two swamp speeders, and assorted infantry and hangers-on to  a single one just a few hours ago. That would be after the 2.1 release, right? If wrong, please ignore me; if however the version I'm playing is post-change then possibly another nerf may be needed?  Those things are bloody lethal...

2.15 is included in "2.1"- it's the full upcoming 2.2 where it's been nerfed.

Ah, of course. I mistook you there; thought you meant the nerf had been applied in both 2.1 and 2.2 releases. Sweet, mate,
