Title: Can't select units during battle.

Hey guys I'm running into a problem when I enter a battle  I can't select units to do anything. I only get a voice response ,but I cant direct them in any way.

I'm playing the 2.1 version. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

This is an issue with the EaW engine known as the selection freeze. Since it's an engine issue, mods can't fix it directly, however we did release a tool which can fix the save file for a game after it happens:

Also make sure only to use it on a save game that was saved in galactic mode NOT in tactical mode!
And make a backup of your save games before you use it, just to be sure. Sometimes the tool can break stuff.

Start the program, select your game version, then locate your save game folder and then select save game you want to fix and hit defreeze.
