Title: 8 Star Wars films ranked

I'm sure this has come up in this forum before plenty of times probably, but anyway, I would like everyone to rank the 8 SW films how they see it, so we can compare and discuss it.

Mine is a little unconventional maybe, but here we go:
1. Empire Strikes Back (1980)
2. Rogue One (2016)
3. A New Hope (1977)
4. Revenge of the Sith (2005)
5. Return of the Jedi (1983)
6. The Phantom Menace (1999)
7. Attack of the Clones (2002)
8. The Force Awakens (2015)

Glad to see some love for RotS.  :)

Edit: Revanchist, rofl, TFA below the Holiday Special and Ewoks  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

And we pretty much have the same list, because A New Hope/Star Wars and Rogue One change places in my mind all the time, as do TPM and AotC. I think it's impossible for us to disagree on anything, lol.

Havne't seen Rogue One yet, but other than that, I basically mirror Revanchist.

I agree with Revanchist as well.
The only difference is that I don't consider TFA existing so that I can live with myself

And therein lies why I haven't seen Rogue One yet.  I hated TFA so much, that I haven't been willing to spend even $2 to see Rogue One (even though almost every single person I know does say it's leaps and bounds better than TFA).

Probably something like this, but they move around in my mind depending on what mood I'm in or how I weight different elements.

Empire Strikes Back

A New Hope
Force Awakens
Revenge of the Sith
Return of the Jedi
Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones


Really I don't think it's any easier than deciding on the perfect viewing order (http://www.empireonline.com/movies/features/star-wars-best-order-watch-movies/)!

Damn, you should really watch Rogue one its way better than TFA but if we overhype it too much its not going to be good. So watch it whenever I would say.

How about the entire community sets a date and time. Then we all go on discord and re-watch them, there's nothing that could possibly go wrong!
