Title: The RP Thread
Post by: GreyStar on May 10, 2017, 04:46:24 PM
Since apparently RP keeps happening while I'm away I figure I should set up a semi-serious / joke RP thread. I don't know what I'm doing.

---
Rules section, will be updated as nesscary.

Ships rules thanks to Mr. Puerto.
I think we should establish some rules before going forward,

Here's a rough draft :
Keep fleet sizes reasonable, for example I may have a super large fleet size. But since I was sent away on a mission at the height of the empire it makes sense. Plus I use fractal sponges Fleet review picture as a reference.

No making up ship classes, since we're putting this at the after endor period I think that's reasonable for imperial RPers, for the new republic you obviously have more freedoms but again keep it reasonable and realistic. If you modify a ship make sure to take something away.

Read the responses extra carefully. Players might have calculated a response or set something up very specifically. So you have to follow what they write.

Other than that be pretty liberal. I know I am. Oh also make sure everyone agrees to the rules, I wouldn't want to be a dick and force rules upon everyone. I made it so it's easier for everyone.

MC90 Flagship, The Grey Command, formerly known as Aquatic Reign, and Repainted Fishtank.

The captain, Ordo, was watching space debris roll by.
"I'm so glad I'm not a ground commander."

When suddenly an Executor class super star destroyer and her support fleet come out of Hyperspace. Grand Admiral Madara barks at his command crew " Make sure to trap that MC90 within our tractor beams, and tell the that immobilizer to turn on its gravity wells! Do not allow them to escape! I wish to speak with the captain of that vessel, alive and unharmed!" The crew looked around, they knew why he had dragged his personal fleet out of Core space, but they weren't sure they were ready for the coming operation. To defy the Moffs was one crime, but to defect the so-called New Republic with such a large fleet was unheard of. The Grand Admiral ordered his comms officer to hail the MC90 and waited for a response.

Eh I'll play along, I got 4 months off so might as well contribute to something that will allow me to express my ideas about Star Wars.

(Repainted fishtank has me dying from laughter, best name ever)

Captain Adrian of one of the prototype Nebula class Star Destroyers, The Phoenix, noticed a large blip jump through hyperspace near the core and he nearly choked on his coffee. "Oh sh-" He sputtered out before coughing as he got his horrible five credit beverage in his lungs. "Move the Pho-" He was broken off by another cough and his face was red from his wheezing. After today he was done with that horrible McSpacey's coffee. He punched the coordinates in and jumped into hyperspace moving onto Captain Ordo's position.

(I turn away from my thread for a few hours to play some 2.2 and finally see whether or not the Assualt Frigate needs a buff, my ship gets boarded by an Executor. Topkek. Sorry for the late reply.)

Ordo opened to the hailings of the Executor, a scowl on his face.

"Captain Canis, of the Grey Command. Who do I have the honor of speaking to?"

"Hello Captain." Madara said in a rather plain tone. "My name is Grand Admiral Madara of the Galactic Empire, well up to a few moments ago I was part of the Galactic Empire." Madara seemed to study the Captain as if studying him and his capabilities. Madara continued with a frown steaming across his face " After Palaptine's death I became bored of all of these silly Warlords and Moffs, they never really provided me with as much entertainment. So, I've decided to cut out my own region of space in the unknown regions, and offer it to the New Republic. Of course My fleet and I will be available to the New Republic under the right conditions. Now please allow me to have a moment."

Madara pushed the mute button and looked to his Second in Command. " Admiral are all ships in the fleet ready to engage any... expected guests?" Madara inquired with a calming but stern voice. "Sir the ships and fighter screens are in position, not even the Endor Fleet could resist the firepower in this 360 degree defense grid." The Admiral exclaimed with assurance, and awe. Madara continued his questioning " What about the Interdiction Field, how is that holding?" The Admiral wasn't expecting a follow up "S-Sir, a-any ships within an hour radius will be forced out of hyperspace." Madara thought to himself "Some doesn't feel quite right, maybe I should get a new Second." After his thoughts distracted him, he recollected himself and told the Admiral to send a message to the fleet. "All hands to battle stations and be prepared to jump back to the unknown regions."

Madara never taking his eyes off the hologram, pushed the mute button once more to unmute himself. "Any questions, Captain?" Madara finally said with a smile.

Ordo nodded.

"What are the conditions for your, services to the New Republic? Why give up your holdings if you have an Executor class? And lastly, will you submit to one of my Jedi friends stationed on here to access your statements?" He turned to the rest of thd bridge.

"Someone get me Falcon up here now." He asked. "And prepare a comm message for any ships hyperspacing in here to not open fire."

Adrian finally got out of his fits of coughing and was breathing heavily as he collected his thoughts, one of the deck officers turned face him and briefly stated "Sir we are being drawn to an unknown mass in the nearest system". As the officer said this Adrian felt the hull of the ship shake as it was being drawn out of hyperspace, Adrian realizing that an Immobilizer 418 cruiser had to be pulling them ordered "Angle the Phoenix towards the artificial mass and put double power to forward shields!" He barked at his crew. "And I want all hands to battle stations and prepare to transfer seventy-five percent of our power to the shields after we exit hyperspace" Adrian felt a sudden jerk of the ship as it was yanked out of hyperspace. His decision to angle the Phoenix towards the artificial mass was a major blunder on his part as he hadn't realized that the interdiction field was much more massive than usual. His star destroyer angled and having its entire deck exposed with minimal shielding presented a huge danger. "Man this day is just getting worse and worse" Adrian muttered (Does this work better)

"I actually didn't think that was going to work" he muttered to himself

Nah b that ain't working, I set the range to pull you out an hour distance away so you ain't ramming anything.

Ashamed for his moment of weakness, Admiral Pullpork went away and stood at the end of the bridge, watching Madara resume his conversation with the captain of the MC90. "How did I end up in this situation", he thought to himself. "I never wanted to betray the Empire in the first place, let alone serve and constantly get ridiculed by Madara, who couldn't even continue being a warlord for more than a month". His brows moved towards each other in grump disappointment, as he was watching Madara's lean and strict stance with his arms on his back, one arm holding the other, hoping the Grand Admiral won't notice it. "I should have joined Treuten Teradoc when I had the chance", he thought. "But now, I'll try to ruin Madara's plans to defect, he'll regret underestimating me", he thought with a smirk, while turning away to give new orders to the fleet, only to slip on a freshly cleaned still wet floor surface, barely managing to avoid the fall. "Holy Dark Side, they really polish those damn floors here". He glimpsed at Madara, still talking to the New Republic officer. "He didn't see, it's fine, otherwise he'd make fun of me for a week".

A Jedi Knight walked onto the bridge, his face at peace, even in the face of an Executor, a symbol of the Dark Side's undending grasp on the galaxy. He looked at the display of Madara, sensing for any intentions of betrayal or destruction. Ordo looked to his knight friend with an unsure glance. Meanwhile, several E-Wings were being prepared to exit the Grey Command.

The Pheonix was given a message in encrypted text. Do not open fire, do not hail for reincofrments, prepare for evacution of the ship. Attempting negotiations, evacute if they fail.

" Sir enemy ship has been interdicted out of Hyperspace!" A senior senors officer yelled. "Ah excellent, our guests have arrived as predicted." Madara again said in a calm, cool matter. Madara continued in the same calm cool pace "Captain, it seems we have been interrupted by a New Republic Ship, and ah it seems to be of a new design. Just make sure you hail that Captain before it comes into firing range, I wouldn't want our new found relationship to start on the wrong foot." Madara look toward the side and chuckled.

"I will answer some of your questions for now. On to my region, I'll give up my holdings only if there are allowed to be in a semi autonomous state with me as the Overseer. Of course the New Republic will be allowed to set up staging points and use designated drydocks and logistical vessels. Any ship production will have to wait until a later point in time. Again I find the New Republic to be far more entertaining than the squabbling Moffs and Warlords of a fallen empire, besides the Emperor was also beginning to lose his luster."

Madara looked to his second " Make sure to send 5 squads of TIE bombers to the new ship along with 6 squads of Tie interceptors escorting them, with an additional escort of a Secutor and 3 Star Destroyers. I don't want that thing near our immobilizers, or hyperspace route."

While he was speaking he felt a force user reach out too him, while his galaxy had no such thing as the "force" he could still detect these things with his inner energy. He looked to the jedi "Hey, Jedi if you could stop reaching out to me that would be great, I get you're trying to feel me out but you won't find anything as I am a being outside the force."

He sensed Admiral Pullpork almost fall on the floor, along with his thoughts of mal intent against. "I should really make sure I talk to him when he gets back, he really misunderstands what's happening here. I can't have any commanding officers think I'm underestimating them."

(Okay see you Major!)
Adrian sent a return message after reading over Ordo's initial message
Prepare E-wings to make an attempt at taking out the Interdictor if negotiations fail and try to keep them stalled while I think of a way out of this
"There are TIE bombers and Interceptors inbound captain!" Shouted an officer in a brisk tone, Adrian scowled momentarily and craned his neck against the reinforced bridge viewport to try and spot the incoming fighters. He could see their distinct shapes coming ever so closer and he wanted so badly to aim his anti fighter turbolasers and just open fire. But if he did that it would be certain death for both him and Captain Ordo. He heard the faint sound of a comm call coming through and after a minute of thought he declined the call as he figured he needed to buy as much time as possible before actually having to make contact with this new Imperial Warlord or commander or whatever the f*** he was.

Madara looked to his fleet comms officer, and said "Officer attempt to hail the ship to stop it. Doesn't seem like they will open fire unless the negotiations break down which I doubt they will." Have our ships and star-fighters hold their positions and signal the ship we're attempting to join the New Republic, and to please hold their position. Make sure it comes across as friendly as possible I don't want anyone dying here."

"Sir, take a look at this," Second Lieutenant Relyr called out. Commander Kast Nerix of the Victory-II Star Destroyer Immolation crossed the bridge to the Sensor Officer's Station. If Lieutenant Relyr was actually speaking and not tinkering around, it must be something important.

"Yes Lieutenant, what is it?"

"I've been testing out the upgraded arrays we installed when we stopped for repairs," Relyr replied, gesturing at a screen displaying fleet movements the new sensor network had picked up over the last two weeks. It really was a fantastic piece of hardware, made by something called a Gree. "We are supposed to be the only taskforce assigned to this sector, right?"

"That is correct. No one else wants this blasted assignment," Nerix responded, a scowl forming on his face. Offend one little Moff and suddenly you find yourself demoted, put in command of an outdated, undersupplied fleet and sent to the front lines to die. No matter, Nerix thought, The little fierfek deserved it. The Indefatigable was a warship, not a party barge. But there was something about those fleet movements . . . "Wait, there's another taskforce here? Wonder what they did to deserve this assignment. Well whatever the case we could use all the help we can get." His eyes narrowed, then suddenly widened. "Isn't that the registry for a command ship?"

"Indeed, and not just any ship." Relyr's hands whizzed across his panel, bringing up the vessel in question. "That's Grand Admiral Madara's new command. An Executor, I hear, along with his personal fleet."

"How interesting. So, the Council approved a military campaign and didn't inform us. Typical." His scowl deepened.

"That's what I thought at first, but when I went back over the data I noticed something unusual. There's no record of this fleet movement being approved by the Moffs," the Sensor Officer noted. Next, he plugged in one of those projects he had been working on. "And that's not all. According to my portable pattern analyzer, the Admiral's fleet was making a routine border sweep. Typical first move when preparing a strike. But then this happened."

"So he changed course. Maybe your analyzer needs more wo--" Nerix stopped, a sinking feeling starting to gnaw in the pit of his stomach. " . . . they changed course to avoid us." This doesn't make sense. I served under Madara, he was a friend. He never passed up a tactical advantage, and he stood up to the Moffs in my defense; he wouldn't pass up an opportunity to add to his forces because of politics. At least, I thought I knew him

Relyr nodded. "And then we have this. Two hours ago the whole fleet vanished. It wasn't for long, maybe 45 seconds. When it reappeared, the fleet transponder was using the same encryption as when it disappeared."

The gnawing feeling intensified, a bitter taste forming in the Captain's mouth. Lagging encryption. We used that whenever we took those side missions fighting pirates. That means he's long gone, and he didn't want Imperial Command to know. "Very well. Comms, contact Naval Command immediately."

Ensign Beecher straightened to attention. "Yes sir. What shall I tell them."

I'm sorry, old friend. "Inform them . . . Grand Admiral Madara has gone rogue."

Adrian heard the sound of the comm beeping to life, he nodded at his officer to keep rejecting their comm hails

"I'm going to get so close to that Interdictor before they do anything about it, that Interdictor is going to want a restraining order against me that's how close I'm going to get" He muttered to himself as his face was set in a permanent scowl, his dislike of imperial officers and commanders was very deep.

It went back to when he was the sole survivor of the MC80 Liberty class Triumphant, and how before the Triumphant had engaged a Star Destroyer the commanding officer had thrown taunts as he saw how helpless they were and yet still didn't give them mercy.

"Launch E-Wings and show them that if they come any closer we will open fire"

OOC: Commander Nerix is going to be in a lot of holoconferences and the like, so he's tied up with that atm. We'll see what Naval Command decides to do SoonTM. I figured having someone who wasn't immediately involved in the action would be a good thing for the story, otherwise it turns into an "and then . . . " plot.

(Hope you're doing alright, Puerto.)

"I will notify the apporiate superiors of mine for your conditions, as well as your new status." Ordo said before turning to a stunned Falcon who was muttering.

"Must be a droid... Must be a droid... Nothing is outside the force..." Falcon whispered. Before Ordo could reply a shout came from across the bridge.

"Sir, the Pheonix is moving towards engagement range of the indictor, possibly to attack!" Said one of the officers. Ordo looked at Falcon and said tensely, "Keep it together man!" He then turned to the officer.

"Open up a comms channel to that ship right now!"

(wow, you guys are doing great, and I can see Revanchist probably did this many times before, his writing is just sublime. Mr. Puerto, I hope everything works out, good luck to you, whatever it is, my friend. Well, considering the story hasn't progressed much since my departure and Pullpork is still pretty much at the same place, I think I'll continue my RP as him)

Pullpork was standing next to the Comms officer, looking grimly at the screen, which now was showing two capital ships, the MC90 and the Nebula. "I hope you had your lunch, Lieutenant", he muttered. "It looks like this is going to be a long day.". That Nebula is too close to the Immobilizer, he thought. "Contact the Worthy Adversary, order them to transfer all power to shields, and to turn their missile interdiction field on. They won't stand a chance against a Nebula with their quad laser cannons". "Yes, sir", enthusiastically responded the Lieutenant. To him everything was so fun, he was still young, and full of energy. Pullpork felt his personal comlink vibrating on his belt. "I'll be back in 5", he barked, and left the bridge. He wasn't expecting any calls, and he knew that he wasn't supposed to leave the bridge amidst such a serious situation, but he had a feeling this was something important. He took the comlink out and looked at the hologram. He recognized Leon Quayle, an intelligence officer, and an old acquaintance of his. They didn't talk often, and whatever this was, it had to be something serious. "Theodore, I'm afraid I have some bad news for you". Quayle looked concerned. "I'm all ears, commander, but I don't have much time. What is it?". "Our defenses on Corsin have fell. The planet was captured by the New Republic 40 minutes ago, I just received the news. The local population wasn't harmed, but the Imperial garrison was effectively destroyed, there are none of our men left there. The nearby Imperial fleet is 5 sectors away, and I doubt that the Ruling Council can afford retaliation at the moment". Pullpork closed his eyes, he looked sick, as though someone poisoned him. He didn't respond. Quayle waited for a few seconds. "Your family lived on Corsin, didn't they, Theo? Your wife, and your two kids?". Pullpork opened his mouth, as if wanting to say something, but he couldn't. His second daughter was born only a month ago, he didn't even see her in person yet. And now, Corsin was lost. He didn't know when he would see his family again. He didn't even know if they were fine. "The Rebels never harm the civilians.", he thought, trying to reassure himself. "But this changes everything. It really does.". "Thank you for the news, commander.", he finally said, ending the call before Quayle could respond. It wasn't polite, and Quayle was a friend, but Pullpork didn't have time to be polite. He didn't have time for anything. He slowly walked back to the bridge, pale as a dead man, with sweat pouring down his neck. (to be continued...)

Thanks for the support, it was just a pretty shitty situation and I had to think about the things that led to the situation, so I wasn't really in the mood to write anymore.

Anyway, this next section of dialogue is probably going to a long one so while I create that I'll make a quick character profile.

Accessing Imperial Records
Grand Admiral Madara
Year of Birth: Unknown
Place of Origin: Unknown, probably from the Unknown Regions
Short Briefing: Madara joined the Empire shortly after the loss of the first Death Star. He sought an audience with the Emperor, seeking to make a deal with the Empire. The Emperor himself allowed Madara to have an audience with him , seeing how The Emperor had never seen a being exist outside the Force. Taking the same path as Grand Admiral Thrawn he gave some mapping information of the Unknown Region, and Palpatine promoted him to the rank of Grand Admiral and sent him to a newly discovered part of the Unknown Regions to establish an Imperial presence, along with establishing several colonies in order to have trade and ship production capabilities in this part of the galaxy. Madara left the core with a Executor class super star destroyer along with hundreds if not thousands of more ships within his fleet.
End of any recorded history.

" You have my thanks Captain, now it appears that I have over stayed my welcome. So I'm afraid this joyful chat has to come to an end, I bid you farewell." Madara paused for one moment thinking if he should tell the Captain any information about the coming Moff fleet. The Grand Admiral sighed, he couldn't betray anyone has soon as he meet them that was just rude. "Before I go, I suggest you do the same thing, this place won't be safe for long. I'm sending you coordinates to the Planet Death's Pass it is the only Planet with a hyperspace route to my territory, so I'd advise taking only the necessary amount of ships before going there. There's no need to cause a commotion yet."

Madara ordered the comms officer to stop the hologram, he was happy with the results gathered here. He looked to his battle situation commander and asked " Is there any update to that aggressive ship?" The battle commander informed him in a calm matter, "Sir, the ship has deployed E-wing squadrons and is making its way toward the interdicator fleet. what plan should we put in place?" Madara got up from his chair and walked over to the battlenet, which gave him a hologram view of the battlefield. Madara smiled, seeing how this had all fallen under his calculations. " Tell the fleet to begin jumping to Death's Pass on my command, using the untraceable route we have planned out. Use the Rebellion's tactic against them shall we. Also tell the interception fleet to use the move Yata Shield in order to counter the ship its too close to our ships and it doesn't appear it wants to stop." Madara's interest piqued "Ah yes this will be far more interesting than those petty warlords." He thought to himself

" Boost all power to the lower shields!" The Captain of the modified Secutor yelled to his crew, if they were going to pull off this plan the timing needed to be spot on. There was no room for error,  since this was such a special strategy. The Secutor he was in command of was a specially modified ship designed especially for these situations. The ship had much more armor and shields at the cost of its weapons. However, the hanger bay was still in use. The three Star Destroyers were also modified to have a much bigger reactor, at the cost of having no hangers. But this allowed for all the main weapons of the ship to be replaced with Ion cannons. The Captain looked to his crew and yelled "Turn the Secutor into the shield position when ready and prepare to launch the Tie Defenders!"

Suddenly the Secutor class took a sharp movement upward. Facing upwards, the Secutor had its armored belly and hanger bay facing toward the oncoming ship and Ewing squadron, this while the Star Destroyers began to surrounded the New Republic Capital ship. The Ewings also took a sharp turn upward to avoid crashing into the Secutor in its unnatural position. The Flight Captain barked to his crew "Deploy the TIE Defenders!" Tie Defenders began flowing out of the hanger bay, following the Ewings. They targeted the Ewings and used their on board ion cannons to disable the Ewings so they wouldn't pose a threat to the retreating fleet. Then the Star Destroyers began opening fire, first bringing down the shields, then disabling the sub-light engines, weapons, and hyperdrive effectively leaving it stranded in space.

Once this was done the Grand Admiral, pleased with himself, ordered the interdictors to turn off the gravity wells. After that Madara ordered his fleet to take the hyperspace route predetermined earlier, making their routes untraceable. The fleet jumped to hyperspace without an conflict hoping to avoid any in the first place.

It is. Plus, with MC 90s and Nebulas in play Grunger is long since dead.

A ship in Imperial service, named Jedi Class Dreadnought Mace Windu, a mini-Executor? This has to be the weirdest thing I've seen all day  ;D And isn't Raddus the Mon Calamari dude from Rogue One?

(Despite the fact that I stated in the OP that this was a semi-serious slash joke RP, things have taken a turn to the serious, with a few brief hints of comical seriousness. And as such, "Jedi-Class Super Star Destroyers" is just too implausible and downright stupid, no matter how crazy Dark Empire Palpatine was.)

You could have assertors or bellators named after Jedi. Im pretty sure if Zsinj can the names of his star ships so can your character.

Plus I don't want people coming up with outrages designs, what's stopping me from developing a 1Km eclipse SSD? I rather nip that in the bud before it gets too out of hand

1. that would be a star destroyer, and the superlaser would be crap
2. this ship has heavily reduced armament. 200 Turbolasers, 200 Heavy Turbolasers, 40 Ion Cannons, 20 quad concussion missile launchers. it is significantly less powerful, so even a bellator would beat it. but, as the NR isn't a threat, but their fellow warlord's SDs are, they restarted production. originally, Palpatine made 20: 10 went with Thrawn, 2 to the PA, 2 to Byss, 1 to Maldrood, 1 to Grunger, and the rest went to the deep core. Treutan, through extra contacts, pirates, smugglers, and other scum and imperials tried to build one out of the wreakage of his previous one, but coated like his fleet in red armor. it was incomplete when Daala took his life.

(I'm gonna continue with the roleplay if no one objects)

Adrian was fuming as he and the rest of the Phoenix crew sat floating in space disabled, the lights on the bridge glowed a dim red as power to the ships systems was on the emergency reactor, he slammed his hand against the viewport in frustration as he saw the Imperial fleet's engines glow bright and fade as they joined the tiny pin pricks of light from the numerous stars before disappearing into the black abyss.

"Status Report", he asked in a calm cold mood, he was beyond pissed and felt humiliated yet again for his arrogance and lack of vision. "We are on auxiliary power and most of our E-wings are disabled, we have five ready and on standby if need be but they couldn't do much against a mass fighter wing." Adrian nodded at the bridge officers response before shaking his head in disgust, "Well god damn it we have to do something", an idea came to him and a small smirk formed at the base of his mouth.

"Reroute a little bit of extra power from the lights to the our sensors and try and trace a small path of ionized particles.", his second in command Mitron nodded and got the crew working on his special order. After quite some time his old Chiss ally and friend showed him their quick findings. "There are very minuscule trails presumably from their modified Imperator Star Destroyers." Adrian chuckled and patted his friend on the back.

"Good work! Now send a signal to the New Republic command and let them know we are following them and that I will signal for reinforcements when the time is right." The lights flickered and went off as most of the power went to the comm signal to the New Republic, "Captain we've managed to get one of our engines back online but the time to get to that fleet's position would be equal to an hour travel time."

Adrian winced and shrugged "That's as bad as my first starfighter I got for my 16th birthday, piece of junk that thing was". "Alright tell the remaining E-Wings to support Captain Ordo and relay to him our plan". After the signal sent through the Phoenix moved into position to follow them and as the ship began to jump Adrian felt the ships hull beneath his feet shake vigorously from the strain on the single engine. The lights dimmed and the ship hummed as the massive power went into the engines as they jumped into hyperspace. "Well this is going to be a special reunion." he remarked as he looked forward towards his second confrontation with this new imperial commander

(I figured Ionized particles could be traced through space after they've been used on a mass scale, and a three star destroyers using only ion cannons would probably leave just enough of a trail to be followed for a small distance through space)

(Well I've updated the original post with Puerto rough ship rules to be more full defined later. I personally have no issues with reasonable fanon ships and I'm more approving of the Jedi class since there's reasoning behind it not "lol this is my Jedi Imperial ship". But not sure I'll let them in the RP, for the moment, let's just say they're a peverse subset of insert SSD here. As a side note, what do you all think of including Ascendancy abilities? Also, RIP in peace my MC90 thanks to Corey today. Lastly I was waiting for Revan The Fire Mage to post but it's been a day.)

"NOW!" Ordo yelled diving for cover when the ion shots shot out. The MC90 diverted power to shields, opening fire on the Executor, too slow to hit it before it hyperspaced away. The entire starfighter group and several escape pods launched from the ship. Ordo opened his eyes after several seconds and got up, looking around.

"We're, not dead?" He asked. Falcon stood still at one in the Force.

"They're gone." He said quietly. Ordo looked to the unanswered ship hailing of the Pheonix.

"Nearly got us all killed..." Ordo muttered.

Yeah, you guys are much more professional at this then I am, or maybe I'm just lazy.  :D However, in this case I kinda I changed my approach to the character and didn't originally plan on it. He started off as purely comedic, and as such the name seemed appropriate, but for some reason my next entry with him became a lot more serious and dramatic, so now such name looks a bit weird. I could of course come up with a better name, considering how many EU books I've read, lol. We'll see, maybe I'll retcon it as only being his nickname in the Navy, and not a real name. That would be one weird-ass nickname (I mean what do you have to do to earn it), but whatever. I might leave it as it is, just for the heck of it. Pullpork and Madara, sounds like a good team (even though my guy wanted to betray Madara, lol).

I like Pullpork how he is now, he is a good comedic relief for the rest of us who are all dark and serious, but a good character is one who can both be funny and serious at the same time, and when push comes to shove he can have his moments of seriousness as a way to develop his character more so that he's not just the one-dimensional funny/clumsy officer who is the sidekick of the story)

Currently writing up my character's next action on another device. Therefore, time for a character bio:

Accessing Imperial Records
Captain* Commander Kast Nerix
Planet of Origin: Orinda

Nerix showed remarkable tactical ability during his time in the academy, and after graduating this non-Core Worlder's meteoric rise through the ranks was nothing short of astounding. Time and again his superiors would attempt to sabotage his career by sending him outcasts and washouts as his crew. However, Nerix transformed them into an unorthodox yet effective fighting force. He served admirably under several fleets, most notably under Grand Admiral Madara, reducing threats in the sectors to nearly nonexistent levels.

However, his tactical prowess is matched by his disdain for Imperial politics. While a firm believer in the principles of the New Order, he is frequently in disagreement with the Moffs, feeling they have little understanding of the real world. In particular, he is a firm supporter of integration, feeling all Imperial citizens, human and non-human deserve the same rights. Of particular ire to many peers and superiors alike is his non-Human wife, who he ensures always attends important functions with him. Imperial Intelligence admires his progressiveness, but fears it may be too sudden. Keep a close eye on this one.

While the massive fleet was in hyperspace, Madara was looking over the holovid secretly recorded by near by probe-droids. He was very interested on the fact that a certain ship opened fired before the fleet jumped. He continued monitoring the former battle space as the probe droid picked up a signal from the disabled ship. It seemed like they were attempting to track his especially modified star destroyers. Madara had also taken this into calculation with a smile he opened his comms channel and contacted Admiral Pullpork, "Admiral please send the three Ion vessels to Mon Cal shipyards, along with the message that these ships are a gift for a new found relationship."

He also contacted Imperial High Command to inform them that the first contact with the rebellion had gone well. And also to inform them that he had not gone rogue as some reports were probably suggesting. After a rough holonet questioning cycle Madara closed the holonet communication. Even though nobody knew the hyperspace route to get into his controlled regions he knew there were those attempting to find it. He couldn't allow this to happen. It was going to take a few weeks to reach Death's Pass, and prepare his plan. However he knew that it would at least take the New Republic months to find the planets location, even longer for the Remnant. He stared back into the fast moving stars of Hyperspace and grinned. Everything was going accordingly.

Adrian was monitoring his console as The Phoenix tracked the faster moving imperial fleet. The sensors on the Phoenix were state of the art thanks to the Fleet Modernization Program advancing New Republic technology at a vast scale. So when he heard Mitron state "Sir we've notice almost a full turn around in the Ionized particles path suggesting that their fleet has turned." Mitron turned to give the order to change hyperspace trajectory but Adrian denied that command.

"Keep on this course and I want a full status report on the repair of our engines and weapons and if they aren't operating within the hour I want to know why!" He barked his face getting red as he grew tired of moving so slow through hyperspace, their smaller capital ship should've been able to catch up to the larger ship as it had a hyperdrive ranking of 2.0 when the newer Nebula had double the speed at that. "And someone make me some damn coffee it's going to be a long day I can feel it."

He turned back to see Mitron raising an eyebrow at him in question of his orders and he sighed as he scratched his hair, "Sorry if that came off as rude but look at where we are currently, we are between Atzerri and the South Western unknown regions." He looked at his console, "The new trajectory of their turn is sending them towards Mon Calamari, which is off putting as that region is heavily defended by New Republic forces, and if this 'Commander' wanted to actually join with the New Republic then why did he jump in the first place?". He turned and put a hand on Mitron's shoulder.

"So I'm assuming it's a diversion as he has figured out our means of tracking him and we need to think of a new way." Mitron nodded and calmly remarked "We could possibly reconfigure our sensors slightly to be able to detect disturbances through electromagnetic waves given off by their ships energy consumption and communications devices." Adrian gave his trademark smile™ as he exited the bridge to go to his personal quarters, "This is why you're the best second in command in the entire New Republic Mitron."

With a flicker of blue, the holofeed collapsed into nothingness, leaving the conference room eerily empty save for the presence of Captain Nerix. For a few seconds, the man stood in silent shock, replaying the events of the last 24 hours.

" . . . a strong accusation, I hope you have the proof . . . "

His hands slowly settled into fists. Proof they wanted, and proof he gave, presenting in painstaking detail every piece of evidence pointing to Madara's betrayal. They told him to await further instructions as they reviewed the material, but that his arguments were convincing enough that he should ready his taskforce to mobilize.

"Commander Nerix, we thank you for this alarming report . . . "

For the first time in eight months, the men under his command had an energy he hadn't seen since the Outer Reaches Campaign. Here lay a chance not only for glory but also to put an end to a threat to the Empire. The soldiers under my command may be considered backwards by most, but they all believe in what the New Order stands for.

"However, it is the decision of Command that your services will not be required; you may stand down."

Now he would have to inform the crew of Command's decision, and watch as their eyes lost that glow, as a little more of their spirit died the slow death far worse than any battle. How will I break the news to them? His thoughts were interrupted by a trill from his datapad. Briefly his eyes lit up—perhaps Command had changed their minds—before his face fell as he read the message.

From: Moff Garret Lentao
To: Kast Nerix
Subject: About a Certain Grand Admiral

Nice Try. The only way you're leaving that assignment is posthumously.

Of course. Any military action must be approved through the Moff Council. His anger flared; the datapad in his hand suddenly in two pieces. NO!! I cannot allow myself to lose composure, not when my crew needs me most. Closing his eyes, he slowly felt the anger flow out, and an idea began creeping into his mind. Turning, he exited the conference room, gesturing for his second-in-command. Senior Lieutenant Fara Crispus made her way over.

"What was the decision, Sir?"

"If I told you, you wouldn't like it."

Crispus tried valiantly to hide her disappointment. "I see. Shall I order the men to stand down from battle stations?"

"Not yet," Nerix replied. "I have a plan, and I need your support. You're going to like it even less than Command's decision, though."

Fara scoffed. "Anything is better than being stuck here."

"Remember Halifax?"

"I stand corrected." She grimaced at the memories. "That man was an infantile creep."

"True," Kast chuckled, "but he was in charge of Sleeper Agents. It takes a special kind of special to deal with those. Anyways, I seem to remember him saying he had dirt on everyone in the Empire. I also remember him saying he owed you a favor after you cleaned up that mess on Ord Mantell. I need you to call in that favor."

"My dream assignment," Crispus said drily. "Next thing you know I'll be volunteering to test the airlocks from the outside. Fine, I'll do it. What do you need?"

"Two things. First, a fleet of Madara's size must have some sleepers on board. I want him to activate one. Not for long, just long enough to ping a location."

Fara nodded. "Good idea. Having a location will give us a distinct advantage. That is, if we ever get cleared for action. Kriffing Moffs--pardon my Huttese, sir."

"No apologies needed. Thankfully, our problem is with only one: Lentao. That's the second request. I want everything Halifax has on him, and I mean everything."

"If I didn't know better, sir, I'd say you were looking to blackmail Lentao into approving our deployment," she said, masking a smile.

Nerix let a wry grin slip over his face, "Now, that would be wrong. I'd like to think of it as reaching a mutual understanding. Think you can make that happen?"

"Yes, sir. I'll report back when I get the information." Crispus turned and made her way to the bridge's exit.

Commander Nerix waited until his second had left, then headed over to Lieutenant Relyr, who was hunched over one of his gadgets. "Can we route our comms through that sensor array to boost its range?"

"Huh? Oh, sorry sir, didn't know it was you, sir!" Relyr stiffened to attention. "Um, yes I think we can, but we don't need comms boosted for Imperial signals."

"I know. Make the needed preparations. I require it to contact an old friend on his personal comms. Ensign Beecher, hail the fleet."

"Frequency open, sir."

"This is your Commanding Officer speaking. I know the past few months have been trying. I take full responsibility for our current situation. In a few days this will all change. I am not at liberty to discuss the details; however, know that we will be facing a threat that if left un-dealt with would cause untold damage to the stability of our New Order. Do what you must to prepare your vessels, and your hearts, for battle."

Well Death's pass is unknown to everyone including Madara's own crew (expect Captain Ordo. The coordinates are already put in a classified computer, and the route taken there is unknown to everyone and can't be tracked. There's a very specific reason for that, that I haven't elaborated on just yet. So no one can follow me just yet especially Adrian since his ship was disabled and the crew was ejected.

Anyway Death's Pass is a planet in the deep unknown regions from any civilization. It has defenses similar to Bastion or Byss at their heights. So there's no way to get in there, and only registered lifeforms are allowed.

Ion cannon disables all electronics inside a ship due to it short circuiting everything. So unless you had an crew comprised of super skilled ship engineers and nothing else, maybe they could repair the ship within like a hour. Not enough time to track me though. Plus I'm taking a hint from the Rebellion and jumping to random places making myself untraceable.

1 month has passed since the Madara incident, no one has been able to locate his or his massive fleets whereabouts, though there were some rumors floating about that some smugglers had seen a massive fleet warp in and out of random points in deep space. After his main fleet returned to Death's Pass Madara took a modified Bulk Cruiser back to his personal palace to his personal planet, the only known population (according to his higher ranking staff who had communicated with him via Holonet) was comprised of modified droids and Madara himself. Due to the fact that the planet had an extreme level of gravity.

Madara looked down the giant hole inside his palace, while it seemed like there was nothing stored in here there was something. A personal gift from the Emperor, he thought it was a waste, since the gift he gave Madara was already something Madara could do on his own. However, the Emperor knew nothing of Madara's true origins or powers  so there was no point of requesting a new gift. He found it ironic that he would give this gift to the New Republic, considering its origins and role in Galactic history. He watched his droids pack the material up and slowly transfer it to different containers which were marked and loaded to a transport. Then this transport go back into orbit and dock with the bulk cruiser and transfer the contents. Since this process would take a few days Madara saw no personal need to oversee this. So he went to the deeper part of his palace, walking seemly endless hallways, twists, turns and lifts back into his meditation chamber. He closed the door behind him, and when he began recalling the events that took place. He begun to laugh endlessly, this was part of something new.

It was some time before Lieutenant Crispus stormed back to the bridge, her body language looking like someone who had finished fighting a hoard of Gundarks. "Sir, a moment of your time," she called.

"Yes , Lieutenant." Kast Nerix stood from his command chair and walked toward her. "I take it your discussion with Halifax went well?"

"If you ever ask me to speak to that man again, I'll vaporize you where you stand," she spat out. I suppose I deserve that one, after what he tried last time. "But yes, I have all the information on our favorite Moff right here." She thrust out a datapad.

"Excellent, excellent," Nerix said, beginning to scroll through the data. "Oh my . . . Yes, this will do nicely. Superb work, Lieutenant. What about my other request?"

Nerix thought Fara couldn't get angrier. He was wrong. "That little toad said he only owed us one favor, and that he would require additional payment for the other."

"I see, that does complicate matters," Kast replied. "I hope it won't cost too much to grease the wheels of Intelligence."

"No, I arranged payment already." She paused, then sighed. "Turns out he's currently stationed on a nearby planet. He wants me to meet with him in person." The bridge crew, trying to remain inconspicuous as they eavesdropped, suddenly erupted into half-stifled laughter. "Shut it!" Crispus barked.

"So in return for this da--er, meeting, he will uphold his end of the bargain?"

"Yes, but it will take some time for him to find the records. A lot was lost when Lusankya went down."

"Your sacrifices in the name of the Empire will not be forgotten, Lieutenant," Nerix said wryly. "In fact, would you like to accompany me to the conference room? I think it is time to talk to Lentao."

"I would love to; that's the best news I've heard all day." Turning, they both headed toward the bridge's exit.

One Month Later

The comms crackled to life. "Captain, shuttle Arginium has docked," the on-duty hangar tech announced.

Captain. It feels good to be back. "Acknowledged. See that Commander Crispus meets me in my ready room," Captain Kast Nerix replied as he exited the bridge. Since his most productive meeting with Moff Lentao, not only had his rank been restored, but his taskforce had been bolstered with the addition of a Tector and five Imperial II-class Star Destroyers. The success rate of strikes against New Republic invaders had skyrocketed. All-in-all things were going well. Despite this, Nerix couldn't shake the feeling of unease whenever he thought of the events the catalyzed it all. This is the first step towards reaching answers.

The ready room door slid open as Commander Fara Crispus entered. "Good afternoon, sir."

"Good afternoon, Commander; have a seat. I take it this date with Halifax was productive?"

"Not dates, weekly updates," she replied, almost a little too quickly. "He's actually been almost tolerable. I suppose being stuck on an uninhabited wasteland made him rethink things. But to answer your question, yes the meeting was quite productive. He finally managed to find the records of sleepers who were a part of the Grand Admiral's fleet."

"I assume he received a response from one of these?"

"Yes, sir he has. It came from the Deep Unknown Regions. Unfortunately, it's point of origin cannot be directly determined."

Nerix nodded. "Unfortunate, but expected. That area excels at masking anyone's location. Did we at least get a general region?"

"Yes, but it is quite large," Fara replied, handing him a datapad. "I don't know how much use it will be."

"That's all I need. Dismissed, Commander." She rose and left. Nerix sat a while longer, considering his next move. Then, standing he entered the bridge. It seems news has already spread among the bridge crew. They're buzzing with excitement "Lieutenant Relyr, is our sensor array prepared to transmit comms signals."

"Yes sir, it is."

"Ensign Beecher, send a wide range hail at this frequency to the following sector," Captain Nerix said, handing him a data-disc.

"Yes sir," Beecher responded. Inserting the disc, he frowned. "Are you sure about this, sir? Chances are at this frequency it'll be ignored as background radiation."

"I'm counting on that. There should only be one person who would notice that frequency." I'm certain Madara will wonder who used this frequency. He turned, sitting back into his command chair. "As soon as you receive a response, notify me and patch the signal into the conference room."

(Well since Revan the Fire Mage never got back to me on Ordo hailing the Phoenix. For this next post feel free to decide what information can be found, Mr. Peurto. Unless you feel this is too rediculous and out of nowhere, I did have a more mundane idea in mind for the next actions of my characters.)

Genesis
Captain Ordo walked out of a shuttle, moving along the grassy streets of this immortal planet to a relatively simple suburban home. He knocked on the door softly, not surprised to see it being opened by a man with old looking eyes and brilliant yellow hair.

"Moriarty." Ordo said.

"Captain." The man replied. "Designation accepted. Come on in Mr. Canis, what brings you to my home?"

"I was hoping to learn about an area called Death's Pass. New Republic business, have a defecting Imperial Grand Admiral who wants to meet us there." Ordo replied. "Oh, and how's Casey?"

"Casey is fine, ever since I got her the stabilizer for her body." The man replied. "Out on a mission right now, with a replicator droid filling in for me. I hope she doesn't call." Ordo nodded in reply, to which the man took Ordo to the elevator, heading down to the second basement, a long dark hallway with a computer terminal at the end. The man flipped a switch, rows and rows of data servers lighting up.

"It'll take a minute for the rest of the system to come online." The man said heading to the terminal and using his thumb to activate it. The computer responded to his touch.

Welcome Talon Xaio Long.

And the immortal smuggler started a que for Death's near Madara's territory across records from thousands of govermnents over several thousand years.

---

Balmorra.

Falcon was on a speederbike, heading towards an overgrown building out in the middle of the hills, ignoring the massive lumbering beasts out there. His eyes flashed in recongition, Madara's face coming to the fullness of his mind, losing control of the bike, falling onto the ground. He picked himself up, to see a dead servant of the Emperor, a Sith Lord who died during the rule of the Dark Empire.

"You... You're not real." Falcon said.

"No. But I can be." The Sith replied igniting a blood red saber. Falcon drew his own blue, the two clashing with opposite stances. The Sith was a bastion of calm, drawing upon Falcon's anger, the Jedi screaming in primal rage. Through a quick duel Falcon beheaded the ghost, watching the head fall to the ground, smiling. Falcon walked into the house, disturbed at the sight, and went to the still secure datavault in the house, accessing the files for anything on Madara and Death's Pass from a former Director of Imperial Intelligence from the Dark Empire. In a similair hallway to Talon, booting up to the same OS and same greeting message.

Welcome, Director Gennstar Undying.

One Month Later

Adrian had been restless ever since the now infamously dubbed "Madara" incident in the Core Worlds, Adrian had received harsh criticism from higher ranking officers on his actions as he had put everyone in danger. He had to publicly state "I did what I thought was best for the Republic!" he shouted out at a jeering crowd of naval officers and crewmen alike. "Imagine a Executor Class Star Dreadnought arriving at Coruscant? What then?". His face became red as he continued on without relent, "I was willing to sacrifice my crew, my second in command, MYSELF, in an attempt to end this threat!, and what do I get for this heroic attempt? Jeers from a crowd who will never realize that I did what I could in that situation!"

It had been a week from that public appearance and Adrian looked worse for wear, he had let his clean shaven face grow a scruffy stubble. His eyes were bloodshot from the lack of sleep due to the huge receival of holo-net messages from friends and critics alike. Mitron had visited him earlier and had barely recognized his captain.

"S-Sir?" The Chiss asked tentatively, Adrian gave him a hard look that wasn't unkind just one filled with frustration. "What is it Mitron? Has the navy called for my retirement due to public outcry? Am I the new scapegoat of the Republic?" He chuckled sarcastically as he drank some more five credit worth coffee. "Actually sir I have a message from General Etahn A'baht"

Adrian now fiddled with the message in his hands contemplating on whether to play it or not, "A'baht is a sensible commander and he does owe me a favor from the Battle of Endor so why the hell not?" he muttered to himself as he inserted the message into his holo player. The usual blue staticky image flickered to life and Adrian waited for the usual official naval greeting in these messages to pass, after the greeting Adrian began to take another sip of his coffee when he heard the Dornean state something that made him spit out his coffee all over himself.

He sighed, not in contempt at his actions but in relief as he had a new purpose again. He messaged Mitron to begin preparing the Phoenix for launch. Adrian shaved quickly as he got his custom captain's uniform on and was out the door within ten minutes.

He made his way to the starport and keeping his head down he got a shuttle up to the docking station above Coruscant, the station was used for both civilian and military purposes and it saw the likes of Gozanti class transports docked right alongside humongous ships such as MC90's. Adrian walked briskly towards the military section of the station, he could see the red and grey outline of his ship docked along the station and a broad smile broke out on his face. He was under strict orders from boarding his ship but that wasn't going to stop him. His time as a professional smuggler had helped him become the master of disappearing and blending into big crowds. He used this skill as he pulled out his blaster and shot three shots straight into the ceiling to create mass chaos.

In the ensuing chaos as the security personal began to shove through the crowd to get the situation under control he slipped through the doors leading to his ship, he boarded the Phoenix and as the airlock doors began to close behind him he heard Mitron's friendly voice call out to him. "Commander, some of the new Fifth Battle Group have been placed under our orders, what are your commands?" Mitron asked as he began walking beside his old friend. Adrian responded with a fiery gleam in his eyes, "Tell them to begin undocking process and to jump to Bestine, and once they arrive they need to await my further orders." Mitron nodded and he began to run off to give the orders but turned around as he jogged away and asked "What's our call sign sir?" Adrian pondered for about a second and replied "Our call sign is Orinda Seven."

Mitron nodded and hustled off to begin carrying out his orders.

(I hope this is good)

I will respond in a couple minutes, and anything is fine, as long as it moves the story forward, and doesn't do anything overpowered. So like a super weapon on the level of sun crusher is not okay. Plus no "hidden hyperspace routes into my area." Like I said earlier Death's pass is the only way into that area.

(How big would a fleet of 14 CR90s, 4 Hajens, 15 Qausers, 15 Dauntless, 4 MC90s, and 1 Endurance prototype be counted as? Also in the previous RP Yang was from a planet where the average human lived to 501 or such. Talon was just the logical extreme of that.)

Adrian recieved a large series of beeps on his personal holocomm not long after he boarded his ship.

(That fleet may be a little big but I'm fine with it as long as everyone else is as well)

Adrian picked up his communicator as he felt the Phoenix launch from the space dock and the ship rocked violently, before answering the incoming message he relayed to the bridge over the intercom "Mitron god damn it keep the ship steady! I don't want our first action be that of repairing the ship if it rams into the station." Adrian heard a crackle of the intercom as Mitron made a hasty apology. Adrian shook his head, "He's nervous I can tell." He said quietly as he answered the incoming call. "Hello! If this is a message from the New Republic then I am not Adrian Dawn I am Ricardo Shilly Shally a basic smuggler, if this is a message from a friend then make it quick they will be monitoring this channel soon."

Admiral Nokri of the Gunmetal Fleet was on the other end, looking around the bridge.
"Ah, Captain Adrian, I'm glad to see you have a new ship. Quite impressive actually, considering how bad I felt watching what happened to you last week. I apologize about Captain Canis, Ordo he prefers, I feel he was too ruthless on you. I was wondering if you could assist me and my fleet with our continued efforts to locate Death's Pass, I have some smuggler friends I've dispatched Captain Canis and Knight Falcon to. And yes, I'm on the Ion enhanced Star Destroyer, well one of the three, Madara sent us. Been running the hyperspace coordinates again and again and getting nothing... Well my fleet is getting repairs and retrofits after that skirmish over Balmorra..."

After the gifts for the various factions of the galaxy were loaded up into the various bulk cruisers. Madara sat down and began meditating while Madara was a being that existed outside the force, and his personal inner energy wasn't parallel to the force. If he used a certain technique he could connect himself to the force in a very board way, he began attempting to find an old friend of his. "He should still be with the Imperials and he probably already thinks I have defected." Madara thought to himself. As he continued to search the force, he stumbled upon an unusual feeling coming from his fleet, he realized these were the sleepers once of his spies had told him about. Luckily they had been reconditioned, Madara wasn't a fool he knew Palpatine attempted to keep track of his movements. That's why he was almost done selecting his own personal for his fleet, they just need another Admiral and he was good to go. "Ah here we go I've found you now Commander Kast Nerix."

Madara received a call interrupting his meditation, while he was a little irritated he knew his... servants... wouldn't interrupt him for any silly reason so it must of been important. He got up from his position, and opened the door to find his servant.
His servant was leaning on the wall with his arms crossed. He had a very cool demeanor, considering his background it was surprising.  "Hey boss you're getting a communication from the old encryption network. It's probably from our friend Kast." He said in a cool manner.
"Interesting I was just reaching out to him with the force, can this be the force?" Madara wondered out loud.
"I doubt it, the force doesn't like to play with us outsiders." Madara's servant said.
"Anyway, there are forces attempting to activate the sleepers inside our fleet, I want you to take care of them using our method." Madara whispered, "I would take care of it myself but it seems that I am needed elsewhere."
"Alright boss, I'll take care of it now." His servant finally stopped leaning on his wall and began walking away then disappeared.
A few hours later...
Madara finally thought to himself "Good thing I never told Palpatine my true origins, or the location of this area." As his shuttle finally began to orbit Death's Pass, it was time to get into his personal ship and train his new fleet personal. He pulled out his communicator and began trying to reach Kast.

Btw, Puerto, do you want Pullpork to be loyal to Madara, or to become a pain in the ass behind his back? "Sir, we've received a response to your hail," Beecher reported.

Curious. That was quicker than I expected. "Very well, I shall be in the conference room. Commander Crispus, you have the bridge." Captain Nerix rose and exited the bridge. Time for a long overdue chat. Entering the conference room, he locked the doors using his personal encryption key. No one on the ship would be able to interrupt him. He walked over to a panel on the wall and began adjusting the dials. This signal is too low power to transmit video, but audio will work. "This is Captain Kast Nerix of the Imperial warship Immolation. I am alone, and this communication is unmonitored. I believe it is time for us to speak, Grand Admiral Madara. Or do you prefer the title Warlord now?"

Nope, the only Hyperspace lane is going through Death's Pass. That's why its named Death's Pas

Madara laughed to himself, and said " Warlord? Hardly, I mean have you seen the activity the Imperials have been up to? Of course you have! No I'll retain my Grand Admiral Rank. In any case you might suspect I've left the Empire, let me discuss somethings with you."

Talon looked to Ordo and patted his shoulder.

"Sorry bud, there's nothing here. If it is here it's not in a language you understand." He said. Ordo nodded with a sigh.

"Tell Casey I said hi." Ordo replied heading out the elevator, out the door, off the planet, back to Mon Calamari.

Falcon smirked finding a clean copy of the Unknown Regions Chart that Madara gave the Emperor a long time ago, finding a key point with the data. A hyperspace route to Death's Pass. The Jedi quickly left and mounted his bike, heading for his E-Wing back to Mon Calamari. A speederbike will totally fit inside an E-Wing. Sure.

---

Several hours later, Mon Calamari

Ordo was sitting at a table on the Grey Command, ignoring the humming of the ship being worked on outside the hull and the vibrations heading inwards, watching a group of smugglers leave with a sigh. He spin a credit coin in his hands, rubbing his head when he heard a message on the PA.

"Captain Ordo to the bridge please." The comms said. He got up and started to head to the bridge.

Adrian's face glowed as he viewed the planet Coruscant from the viewport, he cursed the planet under his breath as he looked at the vast city. He hated the planet and all it's 'Majestic' gloriousness. He breathed a sigh of relief as the ship turned away taking the planet out of his view. Adrian had felt caged in the capital, he had longed to be free in the vastness of space breathing in that beautiful dark void. Except not really since that would've killed him.

He would rather die than be on that planet any longer however, he turned quickly from the port window and began transversing the ship towards the bridge he heard the comm continue to crackle and he suddenly realized he had been daydreaming while Nokri was talking, he spoke into the communicator warily as he hadn't heard a word he had said except for 'Madara' and 'Death's Pass'. "I'm actually going to go my own way on this one but I will be in touch with you as I continue my search, I have many connections in the galaxy and I'll find him in due time." Adrian was about to end the transmission when he thought of an idea, "However you can assist me in my search, I want you to bring those three star destroyers along but always remain one jump behind us, I'll call for you to join us when I need you". Adrian was a kind man but he didn't know Nokri very well and if he was anything like Ordo he could do without that. He had a cold demeanor about him Adrian did, he wasn't cruel or unjust but anyone outside his inner circle didn't know this and he never showed his true self to anyone but those closest to him. He never let people read him as that would've given them an advantage over him. He could always read other people and used this to understand their actions as their emotions always betrayed them.

Adrian resumed his walk to the bridge and saw his crew moving around as they moved around, they moved crates of supplies and tanks of Tibanna Gas to fuel the cannons. "All is right in the galaxy" he thought to himself as he continued his walk to the bridge. His crew saluted him as he passed and he waved them off. He wasn't a Captain who abused his power and did the best he could for his crew. Even if it meant bringing him to his limits and beyond.

Adrian reached the repulsor-lift to the bridge and got in with fellow officers as they made their way to the bridge, once their he quickly moved to the command view port where Mitron was standing viewing the collection of ships as they began to hyper space to Bestine. Mitron's good hearing allowed him to hear Adrian coming up behind him over all the noise. "Good evening Captain, or should I call you Admiral now?" He asked raising and eyebrow at him. Adrian shook his head a little "Mitron you know just to call me Adrian". Adrian chuckled as he put his arm around Mitron and Mitron cracked his rare but charismatic grin. "Well Adrian we need to get a move on it don't we." Mitron said while looking out excitedly at the vast darkness and clusters of stars. "Yes, yes we really do." Adrian replied as the space in front of them blurred and the stars began to stretch and then fade as they jumped to hyperspace

(Mitron and Adrian are really good friends and they've been so since the Battle of Yavin)

Admiral Nokri frowned seeing he lost his chance to continue talking with Adrian.

"Senior Captain Ordo, I'm taking my personal flagship, the Star Destroyers, six Corellian Corvettes, six Quaser Carriers, and six Dauntless Cruisers. Take the rest of the fleet to Death's Pass on behalf of the New Republic, I've sent message to fleet command of our, new, arrangement." Nokri said before cutting comms before Ordo could reply.

"Gentlemn, follow Captain Adrian's hyperspace trail." Nokri said sitting in his chair and looking out the viewport. "And look for any hails from Fleet Command."

Ordo reorganized the chain of command and set off for Death's Pass, Falcon once again with him.

Adrian not looking at Mitron asked from the corner of his mouth, "So what ships are under my command? And are they really shitty ships because I wouldn't be surprised if they were." He said as he actually thought about it and he realized that he really wouldn't be surprised. Mitron commanded a full list of the ships and one of the newer officers answered with a slight stutter, "Well s-sir we have three MC90 class cruisers, a-a-a-and eight Dreadnought class heavy cruisers from the old K-K-Ka-". "Katana Fleet?" Mitron interupted, the officer nodded quickly and then resumed "Eleven Quasar class carriers, with K-K-K-K-Wings and E-wings, and we also h-h-have twenty CR-90 class c-corvettes with X-X-X-wing escort." Adrian nodded thinking the officer was done but the officer stated one more thing, "A-A-A-And one heavily modified G-G-G" The officer sighed as he cursed under his breath.

Adrian smiled politely and figured it was one of the first assignments the officer had, "Continue please and don't be nervous, I don't really bite people that's just a legend about me." The officer's eyes widened and continued. "Gozanti Cruiser named the Red Thun-" The officer paused as he reread that several times "The Red Thunder? What kind of person would fly that h-h-hunk of junk"

Adrian's smile disappeared a little and Mitron looked nervously at him before rushing over to the officer and speaking in a hushed tone explained the situation, as Mitron's words dawned on the newer officer his eyes went to Adrian's face and the officer's face went a stark white. "I'm s-s-s-s-sorry sir! I did not know that was a personal ship of your's!" Adrian gave him a stern look "Why yes it is my ship, and what do you think of me? Am I just some run of the mill ruffian? Oh I must be for flying that hunk of junk!" Adrian began to shout as his anger flared, Mitron backed away from the officer not wanting to face Adrian's rage, "I flew that ship for 23 galactic years bringing arms and supplies to worlds under the harsh rule of the Empire, From Mon Calamari all the way to Naboo, and there were some days were I went hungry as I gave all my food to people who had less than me! People who were starving, people were being tortured and used by the Empire for their material gain! I LOST EVERYTHING TO THE EMPIRE, I LOST MY FAMILY, MY HOME, ALL THANKS TO THEM! BUT YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND THAT STRUGGLE OF HAVING NOTHING AND HAVING TO KEEP MOVING ON AND DOING YOUR BEST TO SURVIVE IN A COLD CARELESS GALAXY NOW WOULD YOU!" He shouted at the top of his lungs

Adrian's eyes were so full of rage, his face had turned a bright red from his shouting and the entire bridge was silent as the veteran and newer officer were just staring at him wide eyed. The only noise came from the soft hum of the monitors as they worked. The Officer that had made the remark was ashen in the face and his head was down in shame at what he said, Adrian had been holding that in for a long time and it felt good to get it out but not at the cadet. He had an uneasy feeling in his stomach, "All of you get back to work." He barked and the bridge was alive with the flurry of his crew as they found other things to have their attention. Adrian motioned for Mitron to follow and he fell into pace behind him.

"That was a bit harsh Adrian, even for you." Adrian glared at him "You know what we went through you and I and you also know the things I sacrificed to help the Rebellion, I will not be called a god damn scruffian for trying to the right thing." He remarked in a huff, his comm beeped and he looked and saw that it was from the New Republic (Someone can insert a new character here if they would like), he answered angrily "Look I don't have time for this I haven't had my McSpacey's coffee yet and I'm on edge so whoever this is, spit it out quick or I'm ending the transmission".

Madara saw looked to his holo display, "Quite the fleet they brought in, even though I told them told them not to do something like that. Oh well I did warn them." Madara thought to himself. "Hey, did you take care of our problem and train and filter our new staff." Madara question his servant who was on the other side of the holodisplay. The servant looked up and smiled, "Its all done boss, there is nothing inside our ships or staff that could possibly be used against us. No viruses, no sleepers, nothing of the sort, I used our power to make sure of it."

"Good, get your fighter squadron and your sector fleet and protect this ship." Madara said. Madara looked down to his communicator and told his forces "Get ready to deploy and to follow the plan stick to your positions."

Madara finally signed and hailed Ordo. "I'm quite displeased Captain I told you to only bring what was necessary."

"Apologies, Grand Admiral, but I had orders from my superiors to take his fleet." Captain Ordo said turning to Madara. "So. Let's begin."

"Its quite a shame really. Here I had gone ahead and had gathered the perfected blueprints and production methods of Spaarti cloning. Just for the gift of trust for the New Republic. I had even created a small number of 500,000 of them just for the New Republic. But now here we are." Madara said smiling. Madara continued "I mean I do have an intelligence network far greater than any the galaxy as ever seen. Even now I know that one jump away is a massive fleet, including the Ion Star Destroyers I gifted you, and the commander of the ship I disabled." Madara then brought out his own personal holo device and showed the New Republic fleet gathered waiting to jump in at any moment.

Madara laughed hysterically, putting his face into his hand. Madara then regained composure and kept going "Oh but don't worry our negations won't be over just yet captain if you're willing to meet at the Naval Station I'm still willing to work out the deal of turning over my space. For one condition however, I want to see all of your fleet, no holding back. That way we can establish trust, and I really want to see the New Republic Navy in action."

(OOC: Sorry I took so long. Had all this typed up earlier today but work was crazy)

Fara Crispus sat quietly in the command chair. She let her gaze pass across the bridge at her crew. More than a crew, she thought. A smile played across her lips as she watched Relyr playing with his gadgets, Beecher standing painfully straight monitoring the intra-fleet communications, Tashika running the latest combat simulations, all the crew. I never thought I would find a family out here. Aboard this ship she felt as if she belonged.

You know that isn't true, a voice she felt, rather than heard, whispered to her.

Fara bolted upright, her eyes widening as she saw a shadowy figure materialize before her eyes. That voice . . . "No, no that's Impossible. You're dead. I saw you die."

The figure chuckled. Do you really think me that easily killed? I'm hurt. It sighed. You disappoint me. Keeping the same identity for all this time, despite everything I taught you. Keep an identity for over a year and you start to become it, remember?

"You make it sound like it was unintentional. Maybe I kept this name because I wanted to become it."

It shrugged. Perhaps, perhaps not. Regardless, your little vacation is over. Time for you to return to the fold. It has been far too long. Your Brothers and Sisters miss you very much.

"And what if I refuse?" Fara shot back.

You may choose whatever you wish. No harm will come to you. As to your so-called friends . . . Well, I cannot vouch for their safety.

Her eyes blazed. "You lay so much as a finger on them and I swear I will hunt you down and kill you." Instinctively she settled into a combat stance.

Good, good!! Show me who you really are. Let me see the killer from Brentaal, my most promising initiate! Suddenly, the phantasm lunged toward her. Fara quickly sidestepped, pivoting around to administer the killing blow—only to unceremoniously fall to the floor as the figure vanished, her momentum carrying her through the empty space where it once stood.

They will never accept you, never understand you as we do. Eventually they too will turn on you, just as all the others before them. I will be awaiting your return, dearest Serine. The feeling inside her head faded away, replaced by the silence of the bridge. All eyes were on her, except Lieutenant Relyr, who remained blissfully unaware of what occurred.

Ensign Beecher was the first to find his voice. "Ma'am, are you alright?"

Commander Crispus stood up. She could feel her face warming. Stang, they saw the whole thing. "Yes Ensign, everything is fine."

"Are you sure? You were just talk—"

"I SAID I'M FINE!" She yelled. Beecher's face went ashen. Stang, stang, stang!! Why do I always do this? Why do I always make things worse? Fara took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and tried to flash a comforting smile. "I'm sorry, Ensign. I haven't been sleeping well recently. It must be getting to me. I promise I'll go to the infirmary as soon as Captain Nerix returns. Just, please don't inform him about any of this."

"Y-yes, Ma'am," Beecher shakily replied.

A Short Time Later

The lift doors slid open, and Captain Nerix entered the bridge. "Ensign Beecher, contact—are you alright, Ensign?"

"Yes sir, fine sir. No problems here, sir."

Nerix's eyes narrowed. "I see. Contact Naval Command. Inform them we shall be moving to Grand Admiral Madara's position to aid in an attack on a New Republic assault force." He walked toward navigation. "Ensign, prepare the fleet to jump to these coordinates," he said, handing over a data-disc.

"On it, sir. We should be ready momentarily."

"Excellent. Commander, a word." Kast walked away from the rest of the crew. "Send a message to the commanding officers of our fleet. Tell them to keep their eyes open."

"Are you expecting trouble?"

"I don't know. Let's just say I'm wary of the game Madara is playing," he replied, turning back to look at the young comms officer. "Is there something wrong with Beecher?" Come to think of it, the whole crew seems on edge.

"No, I don't think so," Crispus said. "I'll send the messages right away." She began to walk away, then stopped. "If it's alright with you, Captain, I would like to take the time we will be in hyperspace to rest."

Kast frowned. He knew his second, this was unlike her. "Permission granted, as long as you are back at your post by our re-entry into realspace."

"Thank you, sir." Fara saluted, then exited the bridge.

"Course laid in and relayed to the fleet, waiting on your mark."

"Take us out, Ensign." The stars turned to blurred streaks as Captain Kast Nerix and the Falchion Irregular Command* jumped into hyperspace.

A few seconds later, an Arquitens Light Cruiser jumped to hyperspace, following their trail.

*Falchion Irregular is made up of 1 Tector, 5 ISD-2s, 2 ISD-1s, 7 VSD-2s, 5 VSD-1s, 11 Dreadnoughts, 17 Strike Cruisers, 4 MTCs, 10 Carracks, and 5 Lancers. Some of the vessels have received extensive (and often unique) modifications.

Personal Log of User: Jarith Relyr

Well, I guess we're heading to battle. The captain said something about that, I think. Today was rather dull. At dinner today everyone was talking about what Commander Crispus said earlier; I don't know what that was about. She was talking about something, but I didn't hear my name so I guess it wasn't about me. I hate it when I don't notice someone trying to get my attention, so I built something that administers a mild shock when an auditory queue is registered. No shock, not an issue for me to handle. Today was a zero shock day.

The Captain's idea to boost comms through our Sensor Array gave me an idea for a new trick. Maybe we'll get to use it next time we're in a fight. It does have a bit of a drawback, but I think the benefits outweigh the costs. The Captain is great, he lets me work on these things while I'm on duty when there's nothing else I need to do. My last Captain didn't, he would always take whatever I was working on and sell it.

Speaking of my assignment, I noticed something strange when we jumped to hyperspace. It almost looked like someone was ghosting our jump. I'll have to ask the Captain about that, as soon as I finish these last adjustments to the Commander's weapon. I asked her how she got one of these; I mean, tech like this is hard to come by, especially in Imperial Space. She said it was something she picked up in the wreckage of a battle. I don't know if that's true, but it doesn't matter to me. Getting a chance to see how one of these works is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The folks back home would be amazed if I told them I was working on this. Anyways, I better get back to work now.

Log Ends

Ordo's face turned into a scowl seeing his own fleet watching him.

"Fine! If the left hand is unaware of the right hand's doing, the left hand will disobey orders!" Ordo announced. "I'm sending a message to my 'comrades,' and I'm going to the Naval Station, alone." With that he did indeed send a message to Nokri explaining the situtation, before getting into a shuttle and heading to a dock on the Naval Station, as he promised, completely alone.

"I will see you and your fleet at the Naval Station then." Madara ended the communication, and stood up from his chair. He was lying in wait for many years for this exact moment, everything had fallen into place perfectly. He looked into the deep dark void that was space, waiting for the New Republic fleet to arrive.

A shuttle launched from Madara's flagship, and began docking with the Naval station.

well as long as it doesn't suddenly bring the scene to battle for no good reason.

The modified Arquitens streaked through hyperspace, the enhanced stealth capabilities keeping it at worst a faint echo on Scimitar Command's sensors. Inside, the vessel was oddly quiet, with none of the sounds one would expect of an aging ship manned by a standard crew of approximately two dozen. Suddenly the silence was broken by an alarm, and a half-dressed man burst out of his quarters, running towards engineering. There, he was met by two droids: one, a tall, roughly humanoid build; the other, a squat Imperial Astromech.

"What in the blazes is wrong this time," he groggily demanded.

The tall droid turned to face him. "Statement: It would seem that reactor coolant system 3 is failing. Again."

The man sighed. "Alright, I'll see what I can do." He cast his glance down to the astromech. "C4, you're with me. See if we can do anything to alleviate the strain on system 3."

The little Droid let out a series of self-righteous beeps. "Translation," the tall droid said, "C4-K3 is most pleased to remind you of his opposition to maintaining stealth while in hyperspace."

"I'm sure he is," the man replied with a chuckle. "Duly noted. Next time I need to go on a mission and you disapprove I'll shove you out an airlock first so you don't keep reminding me. Alright, come on, you help me out here and I'll give you five minutes unrestricted access to Imperial Intelligence Files."

C4 responded with a pleased whistle, and trundled off to follow the man as he headed into the engineering bay.

A Short Time Later

"Well, that was a hassle, but at least we should be stable again. Alright C4 my friend, a deal's a deal. Let's head to the bridge and I will get you plugged in."

Once on the bridge, he walked toward a small computer station, turning it on.

Accessing Imperial Intelligence . . .
Enter Authorization Code: INT19922

Code Authorized as Admin-Level-2: Halifax
Please Enter Your Request

"There you go, it's all yours. Remember though, five minutes," he reminded.

With C4 contently sitting through data files, Halifax now took the time to check the rest of the ship's systems. Looks like everything else is holding steady. I knew I should have gotten a new ship: this old thing is almost entirely automated, but hasn't seen a major refit in twenty years. The bridge doors slid open, and the tall Droid entered. But getting ahold of you instead was too much to pass up. "HK, status update."

"Summation: No signs we have been detected. The vessels continue heading deeper into the Unknown Regions. As for communications with the missing agents, there has been no new signals sent from this region of space."

"Something's gotta be up. My sleepers have transponders surgically inserted into them. Even if they die, the signal doesn't stop, just changes from: 'alive' to 'dead.' I want answers, and my buddy Nerix is the best lead I have to finding out what happened to them."

HK inclined his head. "Query: If Captain Nerix is your comrade, why the secrecy?"

Halifax flashed a smile. "I don't want to bother him with a formal request, plus that would take too much time. I'm sure he would much rather have a nice surprise anyways."

Meatbags. I will never understand their illogical eccentricities. "Statement: I see."

"Besides, it's been far too long since I've been on a proper field mission, and I didn't want to risk the chance of being turned down, he continued. "Sleepers are my responsibility, and I need to get to the bottom of this."

"Inquiry: Will we be seeing Commander Crispus again?" HK asked. "I do hope so, it is refreshing to interact with a like-minded being."

"Yes, she'll be there. One of the high points of this assignment, seeing dear Fara again," he said wistfully. Then he paused, mulling over the droid's words. "What do you mean, a being like you?"

"Explanation: My designation is a Hunter-Killer unit; my purpose is singular. Commander Crispus' primary function is the same."

"Interesting." I'll have to remember that, it should help me narrow down my search about who she really is. "Anyways, I think I'll be heading back to bed, at least until the next system decides it wants to break. C4, time's up." The astromech obediently unplugged from the input socket and rolled off the bridge. Halifax followed, with HK-60 following close behind. The lights dimmed, and soon the ship returned to eery silence.

Not HK-47, but an HK-series Droid. Being that my intelligence agent is in charge of sleepers he knows better than to trust organics, and thus goes out of his way to procure useful droids. The HK alone cost him as much as a starship, and it wasn't even functional when he procured it.

Ordo walked out of his shuttle and looked around the Naval Station, holding his personal pistols by the blaster to deliver unto any security forces present. True to his word, he was the only life form or droid on that shuttle.

The rest of Ordo's forces remained in the gravity well, furiously hailing the other fleet to hyperspace in for the sake of the negotiations.
