Title: Thrawn's Revenge not loading, says application is not compatible
Post by: lordkenobi on March 19, 2017, 04:39:54 PM
Tried launching Thrawn's Revenge and got the error message:

This application is not compatible with installed operation system. Please upgrade to Windows 98SE, 2000 or better.

I'm running on Windows 10 and was playing EAT and EAT:FOC perfectly before with the RAM patch. But now they won't load either with the same error. What should I do? Any advice would be awesome! Thanks!

Troubleshoot compatibility.

I gave that a try with setting it to Windows 7,8, Vista  Service Pack 2 and XP Service Pack 3, still came up with the same problem.

You have CD version?  If so, known issue, download a no-cd crack.  Win10 doesn't support the disc DRM method, and there is no way around it other than using someting that doesn't have the DRM.

Haha yeah I do! Probably one of the last people that do. So I should just download Empire at War and Forces of Corruption and that should take care of it?

If it comes up again and you have retail what I do is that I have a old PC. What I do is I shut down my computer, take the FOC disk out hold it in my hands click to run the game and it will say (please insert disk) and do so. Works perfectly.
