Title: Personal avatars?

Hi, I'm just wondering because I currently see no way to do it, but I have no clue how to use an image other than the ones Corey posted as an avatar. I've tried .jpg files and .png files of all sizes, any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Any image should work, you just have to host it somewhere and get the URL. Imgur works.
