Well, in ANH Vader was commanding the ISD mk. 1 Devastator, so it's not a huge stretch to say that a First Order SSD will show up in Ep 8.

If he can magic up Darth Vader's helment he can magic up the Executor lol. Bigger. Better. Stronger. Even slower. Even worse AI control. And we'll call it, THE KILLER CLASS SUPER STAR DESTORYER. Since if his flagship is something as stupid as "The Finalizer" anything's possible.

IF stormtroopers cant hit anything how did the rebels aboard the Tantive IV not win and the endor Strike team surrender in the first place?
Also They Wiped most of the Endor and Yavin Pilots.

Technically at just shy of 3,000m long the Finalizer would be a Battlecruiser under the Legends Anaxes system (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Anaxes_War_College_System) which pretty much already makes it a Super Star Destroyer. :angel:

I actually had considered posting almost that exact same thing.
My question was, does the anaxes war college exist in the disneyverse?

If the new SDs are the size of a freaking battlecruiser, a freaking battlecruiser, how does the First Order manage this!? If they have the Unknown Regions, how do they have the materials for such a massive fleet? And how come these massive ships don't have a crippling weakness to fighters? Did they install AA on them?
WHY DO THEY EVEN NEED SHIPS THAT BIG IN THE FIRST PLACE!?

And why did the NR not do anything about it i mean they did build a system destroyer in a planet that's not cheap and they where building ships the size of battlecruisers so why did the NR do NOTHING.

Because apparently in the new canon, optimism SUCKS. I mean, after all, Luke's Jedi Order get destroyed, Han Solo dies, countless innocents die, and the New Republic is even worse then the Old Republic, all because Han and Leia had sex. Shows how much optimism got the galaxy. Because of these people banding together because they believed they could change the world, THEY JUST MADE IT WORSE 30 YEARS LATER.

they needed more big ships because the new republic had the last three known operational Star Dreadnoughts. and, if Eclipse returns, I think that it will be Snoke commanding it
