A set of improvements and additions to the individual ship names.
Lists were created for almost every ship in the mod, drawing from legendary sources when possible. (E.g: Flurry, Thurse, and Battle Dog for Quasar Fires)
Petroglyph's name lists are revisited to fit the new setting, with defectors, destroyed vessels, and ships of ICW heroes removed as well as appropriate additions.

This mod is a custom modification and was neither created nor is it supported by the Thrawn's Revenge team. The Thrawn's Revenge team is not responsible for any negative effects from installing these files nor can they be held responsible for fixing any issues which arise from them.

I would like for all Ships to have Customers names in the mod too man. Like a Super Star Destroyer name the Last hope of the Empire.
-
Does this work for Vanilla 2.15 ICW, or is it for Balance and Flavor?
-
It's for 2.15, though compatibility with Balance and Flavor (or any other submod) can be accomplished by copying the two <ShipNameTextFiles> sections in this GameConstants over the default section in the other mod.
-
great! just hope this mod will work when 2.2 comes around.
-
Not immediately, but I intend to update it rather quickly.
-
good
-
I've just updated the mod files to allow compatibility with the 2.2 Demo, as well as revisited, larger lists for many ships.
-
Custom names would be awesome.
-
I think this is a great idea! I don't know why, but I always liked seeing the names on the different ships when you scroll over them. Thanks!
-
No Problem
-
It's a small detail, but I've always liked seeing the individual names. It feels just a bit empty for ships not to have them.
As far as custom names go, all you have to do is add them to the appropriate text file. Names near the top of the file tend to show up more.
-
This is very nice thank you.

Jorrity I meant in game where if its a new ship I made I could name it.

If you go to Gameconstants.xml and find the list of ships with names (you'll have to search as I don't remember where that is off the top of my head) you can add in the ship and what text file it needs to get its name from.

In game wise...

You can't make it so you can give ships custom names while ingame.
