Title: Version Gap (split from Warlord Strategy Guide)
Post by: Illidan Stormrage on October 07, 2016, 11:56:25 PM
Filoni has been a big source of problems too. He tried to bring Durge into TCW, only reimagined as a human.

But anyways, we digress from the original purpose of this thread.
yeah really I should change the name to "Ramblings of a couple of Admirals, lords, guests on star wars cannon"
But yeah the warlords are probably going the best update to Thrawn's revenge. We now have Heroes we wanted so what are your plans for the galaxy?

You weren't here for the 1.3 > 2.0 updates.  I think that's the one Corey will be most proud of due to the improvements in the teams models.

That was a huge update.

That was a huge update.
Though I believe the 2.15 -> 2.2 will be an another huge one.
If (and from Palpatine's voice from now on)everything is proceeding according to plan, then it will be a huge update.

If it's not the same level, it's close. The models were a big deal for the earlier versions, however a lot of that was actual spread between 1.3 and 2.0 so visually the jump isn't quite a big as you may think for those versions; after all, they were released in the same year with only a 7-8 month difference. 2.0 had the biggest changes in systems (representative hardpoint system was effectively set up in it), it had the introduction of the PA, and was probably the biggest overhaul of GC setups to that point, however almost every GC that isn't the Thrawn campaign is getting pretty majorly reworked, so the point that we didn't even look at existing layouts when deciding the plans for them and instead just went with what made sense on its own. Weapon systems are changing a bit again as well, although that's for performance reasons since we found out that projectiles count towards the object totals for selection freeze. Certain other things probably push it over that as well.

that was what the ... wanted to represent after eriadu. Because it is an endless cycle between all the new/reworked factions including the DL too.
I just didn't wanted to make it long.

In my opinion I find it funny Zsinj has the most going on yet he is killed off by era 2.
I will Probably do Bacta War and Hunt for Zsinj as Zing's Empire.
I think Eradiu is too imperial for me but I will do Endor aftermath with them
PA I go to stars align then maybe the progressive era gcs.
Maldrood I will do first with Endor aftermath, then maybe Hunt for Zsinj and finish off with reunification.
IR I will do bacta war and maybe Reunfication
Nr Mostly likely not going to play.
And Eoth I will do a couple progressive era Gcs

But if I'm playing as zsinj then I'm going to not get killed and make a massive war fleet that conquers the galaxy because I can change star wars history in this game.

I believe the fact that we could play as him in 2 GCs, even if as just a slightly reworked remnant made us want more with him, especially seeing his forces in all the progressive GCs and Empires at War GC (because let's face it. Even if it was labeled as Warlords, we all knew that it was basicly Zsinj). Not to mention that he had a lot going for him.
