Title: No combat after advancing to Era 2 on Essence of War map

Advanced to the 2nd Era after destroying Isard's SSD. But now no space combat happens when my fleet is on the same planet as an enemy fleet. When I move my fleet to an enemy planet, my fleet icon appears over the enemy fleet icon. When I move my fleet away from the enemy planet, the enemy fleet that was there reappears.

Any ideas?

Have you used the defreezer on your save file?

Just tried the defreezer. No change.

Moved fleet back and forth between Thyferra and Duro, but no combat occurs.

Actually looks like a loop of something that's preventing all other combat.

I keep getting the notice from R2 every week of "Minor Victory by Pentastar Alignment" over and over again.

Any fixes for that?

Okay, yeah. This is a separate bug, and I'm honestly not sure what causes it. I've been working on fixing it in other instances lately, however nothing I've done to mitigate it seems directly linked to anything that could actually cause it. I've also noticed that if you try to force ground battles past this bug, it always initiates as a space battle on a planet with the correct ground forces, but in space transports. Unfortunately I can't say how to fix it at the moment, but the more information you (or anyone else) can provide when it occurs for you in 2.1 would be very helpful.

No worries. Thanks for all your hard work with the mod!

The only thing that triggered the bug was the change of Era from 1 to 2.

My guess would be that something about the spawning of new units related to the change of Era causes a combat loop that prevents any other combat from occurring.

From the planets I guess this is Essence of War, is that correct?
