Title: Installed and Selected, But Runs Vanilla
Post by: Sagaren on April 14, 2016, 01:04:26 AM
Hi There, I installed the files, followed the directions, and even was able to get into the game and enable the mod through the mod selection screen.  However after it applied the changes it just runs the normal game.  I'm not really sure where to go from here.

What's the full directory of your GameInfo folder inside the mod's folder?

Thank you for the quick response.  I believe this is what you wanted.

C:\Users\Gabriel\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.82

Or dId you mean this?

C:\Users\Gabriel\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.82\Ascendancy-V1.1

I mean like:
C:\Users\Gabriel\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.82\Ascendancy-V1\GameInfo

But I'm guessing yours looks like:
C:\Users\Gabriel\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.82\Ascendancy-V1\Ascendancy-V1.1\GameInfo

In which case, the problem is you've got one too many folders. Cut the contents of Ascendancy-V1.1 and paste them into the Mods-Rebellion v1.82 folder.

Thank you so much, that worked!  I've been tearing my hair out for the last four hours trying to figure it out.  You're a lifesaver.  :)
