Title: How did Leia know Thrawn's name?

Does anyone know or have an idea about that how Leia knew Thrawns name in Dark Force Rising althought no one in NR knew it?

but no one in NR knew it at that time. it was first heard by Han Solo in the Coral Vanda from Niles Ferrier. so where did Leia pick it up?

I thought that Lando and Luke got the name from Ferrier first, at Sluis Van while waiting for Luke's X-Wing to be repaired?

that was before the Coral Vanda trip, and i think he did say it, when he was telling them about the guy who was buying up ships like crazy

at least in the finnish edition of DFR, Ferrier doesn't mention Thrawn.

Yeah, i just checked, he doesnt say anything about Thrawn

maybe. but in the book it is mentioned that Leia didn't leran much from Khabarkh.

possible but you have to remember that Khabarakh had doubts about taking Leia to Honoghr. So why would he immediatly tell the name of their lord?

no. she was the heir of Darth Vader yes. but Vader gave the noghri to Thrawn years before so she is only the daughter of their "savior".
