Why did Pellaeon become such an written character? Did Zahn intend that Pellaeon would be in more books than his own T-Trilogy?
-
It was probably that he was just the most recognized highest ranking Imperial there was after Thrawn, so people chose him to lead the Empire
-
yeah. but it's interesting. First time I read the T-trilogy I wondered that will Pellaeon be in some other book. and he was.
-
Zahn's writing style makes his characters "real" and understandable, which makes them great for other authors to use, since they already have a defined persona..
-
All of Zahn's characters have been used in other books.
-
good point. but I think that it was likely that others would return as they were on the "good" side. Pellaeon was just an imperial officer.
-
But he was the main Imperial officer (apart from Thrawn), so it was quite likely that they would bring him back.
-
but still a mere captain. but you're right.
-
Pallaeon was the most fleshed out, he was practically always there with Thrawn.. The others mentioned, from the other Star Destroyers were really just named..
-
yeah. And I would like to know more about Pellaeon. about his time in the clone wars, early service in Empire and after his promotion to supreme commander of the Empire.
-
Wouldn't we all? Is there anything we don't wish to know?
-
well you don't want to know more about Yuuzhan Vong. Am I correct?
-
Sure, why not
-
well I was asking from pellaeon. I personaly would like to know more about Yuuzhan Vong and their galaxy and journey between galaxies.
-
And he knows I dislike the Vong.
-
you've made it very clear. but if I have understanded corrctly so did Pellaeon (meaning the one in books).
-
Who wouldn't? ( in Star Wars Universe)
-
jedi? and those who want peace. MonCalamari, Caamasi etc.
-
Im sure they still dislike the vong
-
I doubt it. many eople just want to forget the war and start the reconstruction projects on their homeworlds.
