Well I think he is the best war writer there is. I mean his books are great.

I like Alistair MacLean's war novels - Guns of Naverone, Where Eagles Dare, Force 10 from Naverone, HMS Ulysses, San Andreas, and i think there's one or two more..

she's good too but I think Hassel is better. but they wrote very different kind of books so I don't know can you compare them.
