Heh, well....

...I want one. ;D
-
still cant shoot
-
I hope that the guy doesn't die during the test.
-
Why would he die? hes not going to be inside
-
If it explodes on launch pad, back flips in air and heads straight for him. Many possibilities. Hopefully none of those happen.
-
Well...it could make for an interesting story in heaven...
"So how'd you die?"
"Eh...I uh....um...I got hit by an X-Wing fighter."
"..."
-
Lol, thats a great idea.. Im gonna be watching out for more about this..
-
ditto but about the no-shoot remark surely it could be fitted with guns and missiles
-
I doubt it, guns and missles are quite heavy
-
Anyhow, this is only really a Prototype, if its successful they can start on a full size, fully operational model :P
-
which would be pointless id rather have a normal fighter jet
-
Meh, i want an X-Wing..
-
Wow thats impressive, that could us some day boys. XD
Meh, i want an X-Wing..
And forget the X-Wing, I want a Tie Fighter!. >_<
-
And how're you gonna get it to fly properly? The aerodynamics of it are dreadful..

Of course I am >_>, I will use my best ideas to make it fly a giant fan, or I will just think so hard that i can move it with my brain.XD
-
Ill believe it can fly when I see it.
-
Strap enough engines to a brick and it will fly
-
A brick can fly. You just put it in an air plane.
-
Well, hate to burst your collective bubble, but...

so sad
-
Last time i checked, X-Wings didnt launch like that..
Anyhow, considering most of it was made of plywood or mdf or suchlike, thats no great surprise..
Hopefully they will try again, with a better design, and be more successful.
-
i thought it was a basically a plane that looked like a x-wing
-
Take a look at this: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/star-wars/rocket+powered-21+foot-long-x+wing-model-actually-flies-305976.php
A bit more detail on how it was built.
-
That X-Wing was flying for a second. The wings need to be more aerodynamic. That's where the problem was.
-
That video was awesome! I am glad the debris didn't hit anyone.
-
Too bad there wasnt a pilot. Just kidding.
-
i believe it did have S-foils right?
made from wheelchair motors?
