Title: Unable to find friend for matchmaking

Sorry that I have to be asking this, but its a problem that my friend and I have run into.  We use Gameranger for joining games and well, when we attempted to start up in Thrawn's Revenge, we go to the LAN area and we are unable to find one another when either of us host it.  I'm just trying to figure out what the problem is and if you guys have a solution that we can quickly do.

I know Tunngle works, however with the ad spam I wouldn't recommend it.

Tungle didn't work for us either.  We spent 3.5 hours trying to get it to work and suffered through ads and bs to do it.

Do you both have the same version?  IE, both gold CD or both STEAM?

Both Steam.

Also, you both must have the exact same version of ICW.  That includes the 2.15 beta patch.

As for Tunngle, make sure you are logged in, search for empire at war, double click one of the FoC channels, and your UN should appear in the box.  You both must be logged into different Tunngle accounts, be in the same channel, and hit LAN in the game menu.
