I have an idea to make the Thrawn Campaign fit more in with the book and that would be after a certain number and specific planets are captured the raid on Coruscant can begin and if possible take out Coruscant for a few weeks in the book. Shortly after the asteroids are removed the NR will Thrawn or Pealleaon or a random Imp Officer pop up and say the Bilibringi shipyards are under attack to which opens the last mission in the Thrawn Campaign to which point sometime into the battle Pealleon would pop up and give the order to retreat saying Thrawn is deaed etc etc. Would be good way to end the thrawn campaign imo if that is at all possible.

But as the IR it would be no fun, since you'd be given the order to retreat (I know I wouldn't ever play the GC knowing you can't win).
Plus, the point of the GC's is to be able to "reset" how it played out.

True- but still it would be an idea some people out there would like to or atleast I would think anyways.

I like the way you think. That's the kind of story reliving I was expecting.

Maybe, I wouldn't see the point in playing if you can't decide who wins or loses by your play. Just takes all the fun out of a story.

I must agree with you. It is totally not fun knowing that all your hard work meant nothing, because your fraction loses no matter what.
It would just ruin the whole thing for IR.
Maybe it could be used for NR only though, so the IR players would still have their fun, and NR players would not just repeat the Cannon story, but also could have fun with a new mission. The only problem is that: What if you kill Thrawn BEFORE it supposed to be?

I would say the same thing for the Return of the Jedi story on vanilla FoC in the Galactic Conquest mode (particularly when playing as the vanilla Empire when the Rebel fleet attacks Endor and you have the Death Star II, the Executor and several ISDs that don't go about-face like in the actual Battle of Endor).
