Is it possible to advance through the era's in multiplayer if neither player is the Imperial Remnant?

Should be able to. Just kill the AIs IR leader to advance

Unfortunately the game doesn't seem to load story files for multiplayer games, which is necessary for progressive eras so no multiplayer GCs can go through eras.
