Title: Executor Special Ability

Does anyone else think the Executors fighter ability is just plain retarded?

I mean, you have to click for every single squadron, it should be release all at once, instead you have to worry about spawning fighters

I don't. It'd be good if it didn't have the recharge time, but being able to choose when and how many of a ships fighter squadrons are out at a time is a good thing in my opinion.

Unfortunately there is a limit of two abilities showing on the unit, although more can be added, they are inaccessible to the player.

I too would like it more if there would be bomber and fighter release separetly.

The Executor should spawn fighters and bombers automatically, while the special ability should send out Vader with his tie squadron.

I personally prefer it as is. Besides, why bother sending out all your fighters when you have smaller ships to do it for you? I use the Executor ability if I see that the enemy is focusing on (as in bombing) the SSD quite a bit and/or my other forces are elsewhere. Although the ability to release Vader and his lil group instead does sound pretty cool.

Its annoying, cause i often use the Executor as pretty much a defense fleet in itself, and i have to keep pressing the button or no fighters

Plus photon beams are kind of overused and overpowered.

Hell, any unit can use the proton beam; I once gave Emperor Palpatine a Proton Beam, just to see if it would work. It did of course, quite well I might add.

what if it just launched fighters the same way a stardestroyer does and you have like an all power to shields or engines or weapons special.

come the executer is good, it doesnt need abilitys, and no way should you just add a proton beam, the proton beam is really dumb because of it's short range, when i play i have destroyed the thing by the time piet gets his slow but right next the the target

the point of having specials is for tactical stuff. just having a slugger isn't as useful as a slugger that can move fast or take a massive beating.

1) Executor will never be fast compared to other ships
2)Its an SSD, it can already take a massive beating
