Title: Multiplayer freezing at start menu

Recent upgraded to Windows 8 on a newer computer, I can't navigate past the first menu when opening multiplayer in Thrawn's Revenge. I can play multiplayer just fine in vanilla but when it comes to this it freezes instantly and is a bitch to fix without a hard shutdown. Any fixes or help appreciated.

On an unrelated note, anyone know how to fix the Shader and Water quality on Intel hardware?

Same issue here, Steam version, nonetheless the problem subsists, tried using LAN tunneling still to no avail as apparently, ICW.bat is not starting FOC let alone ICW properly.

Are you on Windows 8? I'm not sure what the issue is either. LAN tunneling might be a good idea actually. FoC and ICW start fine, however. Just the menu freezing up which leaves MP unplayable. Might have to download RaW again and see if that works.
