What would you imagine Thrawn class to be. what kind of a shape and weaponary?

Id say it wouldnt be huge, not much bigger than a normal ISD, but much faster and powerful, easier to manuever and surprise with, Thrawns style

It would be made of awesome instead of durasteel.

And the reactor would house chuck norris, so his roundhouse kick could be harnessed to power 500 guns

I think it could be 3200m long and have double the armament of ISDII and as powerful shields as MCC. and it could travel at great sublight speeds.

It would be cone shaped, with well placed weaponry (turbolasers, turboions, missile launchers, lasers, maybe some oversized shock nets :P) allowing for considerable concentration of firepower, and balanced defence. Hanger space for a considerable starfighter force, interdiction and cloaking technology. Very powerful and efficient sublight and hyperspace engines.

Every inch of it will have strategically placed weaponry.

And it would also shoot nukes that pass through shields.

I think it would be small, but strong, well armed, and very VERY maneuverable since Thrawn's strong point was strategy, not sheer strength.

That picture looks stupid because Thrawn has pupils which he didn't have.

It also shows he has white eyes, which is obviously wrong

On that cover, only his pupils are red.

yeah. and it is mentioned many times that his eyes were completely red. wasn't that the reason that many human feared those eyes?

That was after it was beleived that was Zahn's intent. But I beleive that was not what he intended.

I think he intended that they had completely red eyes.

I think it was his original intent: it was on the cover of his book! But Survivors Quest has all red eyes:

So I think he changed his mind.

They're both artist interpretations though, not necessarily what Zahn intended.

maybe he wanted to give a choice for people: completely red, as I believe, or red pupils only.

I figured completely red was what he meant, i thought that was what was the biggest difference between chiss and humans, besides the blue skin

Topic. Someone should start a Thrawn thread, just for stuff about Thrawn.

Wow I never even heard of this topic....meh.
I agree with the concept of the Thrawn Class Star Destroyer; it gives the mod team a chance to make an uber powerful unit in honor of not only themselves, but the legendary Thrawn.

The "topic" lasted about all of the first page, before becoming a discussion of Thrawn's eyes. And as Isamu said, this thread is 7 months old.
