Wings 3d? That is what I use. Tis a nice first model, especially the engines. Mine was the mod's corvette shipyard, though I've upgraded it a bit since...

Yeah, the engines and guns are the most worked on but you cant really tell about the guns cause they're so small

You may want to watch your poly and vert counts. Those look very high vert.

Ah. Well, in wings you could really just go on and on without your computer showing any problems. It's when you try to put it into a game that you'd have problems.

Oh, well thanks, i just hope ill get good enough at it to put ti in a game

Do you know what program i should use to skin it?

Well, you'll need to UV map it first which is usually harder than making the model, especially in wings, then you need to actually get the UV (I use screenshot and stretch the image in the program)... Photoshop is by far the best for texturing, though people have had success with GIMP and PaintShop Pro... GIMP is the only free one though. Wings doesn't have any texture applying or (good) rendering feature so you may wanna use Blender for that.

Also, if you want it put in a game yuou would first need to have it rigged.

I suggest you just work on modelling things for a while, and getting into skinning later...

what is the best modeling program available?

It depends on the person's preferance and skill... No program will make somebody automatically good. 3DS Max and Maya are the main professional ones... Both are very expensive, but theres a Maya version thats free with all the features except theres a large watermark over the screen.

800 dollars is enough to buy a house? There are other ways of getting it as well. Ways that are... completely legal of course, not that I'm suggestion anyone gets it these ways...

Not buy, I and few of my friends will rent a place to escape our parent's. And when you count all support we get, then it will be enought.
