Well
-
Rolling slab is my favourite.
-
thated be the chariot lav
-
I have to say the Juggernaught - the proper one of course, not the pathetic version that's in FoC, i never understood why the Empire replaced them with AT-ATs..
-
I think they thought AT-ATs were more intimidating. I personally would select Juggernaut every day.
-
speeder bikes all the way
-
Speeder bikes? Chariot LAV, WHAT IS HAPPENING?
-
well i hate speeder bikes on empire at war unless in big groups but i just like how they are so quick and maneuverable on bf1
-
speeder bikes are in good. they are fst scouts and can cause damage with their thermal detonators.
-

I agree, they are only good in groups in EAW.
-
I think they are their best at the groups of 4 to 8.
-
Yep, I use 4.
-
4 is my regular as it is the quickest to get.
-
Although I prefer AT-ATs.
-
takes time. I usually build few AT-STs first to protect and then I concentrate on biger vehicles.
-
AT-AAs are essential to bring down those pesky snowspeeders.
-
snowpeeders are quite ineffect.
-
They can wipe the floor with AT-STs and Speeder Bikes.
-
if you have no infantry and no atat's or aa's they then one can destroy an entire arsenal of atst's or maulers
-
I hate the speeders, their special ability never works
-
I disagree it is useful.
Nice picture Kratas.
-
what the squirrel thanks
i agree i never manage to loop a walker and am never looped myself
-

On this post I thought you meant speeder bikes. Snow Speeders ability sucks.
-
Either they dont even do it or they string em up and nothin happens, its just plain stupid
-
It's because they usually stand still when they're being roped, which pisses me off.
-
Hehehe... That why Im always the Empire, they have better abilties.
-
yep i get bored as the rebellion
-
I like the AT-AT personally because it gets rid of pesky vehicles, transports, infantry, buildings etc.
and can deploy troops.
-
MDUs in game, AT-STs out. Small, but heavily armed ;D
-
I really don't have a vehicle pref.
Really though, I just bring down a group of vehicles that are fast and can make it to where I need em to go. Usually Maulers or Speeder Bikes. Generally I move them to a spot, have them explode or drop a thermal detenator (based on the vehicle), then call in a bombing run to (hopefully) destroy what's there.
It's not a hit and run tactic, it's more of a....hit, die, and then bomb them to death, tactic.
-
speederbike hit and run go in drop a therm det go out call in a bombing run and kablooee
-
Woah, yeah that would make a mess... As far as favorite vehicle, for me definitely the AT-AT, bring back fond memories of the first time I saw Empire Strikes Back, but to me the EaW version does not do them justice, I mean snowspeeders lasers weren't even meant to make a scratch on 'em... and infantry are WAY too effective against 'em. I made 'em far tougher.
-
you have to remember that this is a game were talking about. I too hate it that infantry can destroy the heaviest of land vehicles but is because of balance.
-
what is the battle platform?
-
what is the battle platform?
uhh, what?
-
Garm Bel Iblis' Gargantuan is an Aratech 520 Battle Platform.
-
ah okay thank you.
-

Yeah I understand that, but I think making the towcable more effective would've been a better solution.
-
yes. I agree on that. but I can't sometimes even use the tow cables.
-
i have also had that problem. you have to have the atat moving for it to be any affective anyways.
-
I voted for 'Other', because I was going to bring up the Swoop-Bike, but then I realised this is a poll for favourite Empire at War vehicles, so I changed my vote to the AT-AT. I prefer the Swoop-Bike in general because it is so fast and cool, and I also prefer the AT-AT in EAW because it pawns everything, except for Snow Speeders of course. ;)
-
T4-bs hack, but I like AT-STs.
-
I love At-St's in all of the other games because they are so fun to fight and use, but in EAW, it just isnt the same.
-
tie maulers are fun to mess with. especialy running over troops.
-
I love doing that to Rebellion in GC; they always attack with massive infantry forces, then I just steamroll them before they can even get close to my base. Half the time they dont even get off a shot before being steam-rolled.
-
thats the way to go
-
;D
Yep; it's the perfect way to go, and nobody gets hurt! Except for the Rebellion.....ah well, poor infantry. It's their falt for uprising.
-
or the storm troopers if you managed to capture a mauler ;)
-
Meh. The Stormtroopers get owned everywhere they go, so no-one cares. ;)
-
its because they are cheap clones mainly.
-
Yeah-but they are still very effective. Tis' a shame that they get mowed down in the movies.
-
its because they are cheap clones mainly.
Actually about half or more of the Stormtrooper corps was made up by recruited personnel. 501st was the last pure Jango Fett-clone unit.
-
Yeah-I guess they needed the numbers to enforce their laws and dominance.
-
Last time i checked, this thread was about Land vehicles, not Stormtroopers. Topic, please.
-
Sorry.
Anyway, I prefer the AT-AT, as you all know, but that battle platformmakes me nauseous. Friggin Gargantuan!
-
Me too!
-
come guys, AT-AT is like the symbol of the empire on the ground like the ISD is the symbol in space. at-at inspires fear, and i am pretty sure that there was a reason that the imperial's replaced the juggernaout, not to mention, the at-at didnt replace the juggernaut, it replaced the at-te, dont you kinda see the resemblance
-
the TIE is more of a symbol
-
No, the ISD is more of a symbol than Ties.
-
i read in a book that everybody in the time the empire was around would see a TIE but less than 10% of all imperial citizens would ever see a star destroyer in real life.
-
Which is why actually seeing one would mean you should really be afraid
-
Exactly. THe Tie's are more the symbol of the Empire in my opinion, for the same basic reasons as Isamu's.
-
No one looks to the most numerous thing as the symbol, its all about might and power, ISD all the way
-
so the ak-74 (not 47 as everybody calls it thats really old) is not a symbol of the ussr but rather the t-100
-
No, the crossing hammer and sickle is obviously the symbol of the dead USSR.
And if someone were to be asked what gun=ussr, it would be ak-47, not ak-74 like your all-knowing mind apparently told you
-
they look the same. the 74 is more accurate and longer range along with a bigger kick.
-
Whats your point? Oh wait, you have none.
