Title: Install Problem

He guys, I know this is a little late as 2.1 is gearing towards launch, but I was trying to install 2.0 today and received the following error:

"Imperial Civil War 2.0 has not been totally installed because of the following reason: Mods\Imperial_Civil_War\Data\Art\Textures\W_khommyplanet_b.dds: This file contains invalid data. (error 21FC)

You will have to run this utility again to completely install Imperial Civil War 2.0"

I've run it a few times, and downloaded it twice - always the same issue. Anyone encountered this?

Did you delete the mod directory before trying to reinstall?

Do you have other mods installed? You should try a complete reinstall of EaW and FoC before trying the ICW installer.

Uninstalled all mods, and EAW and FOC. Restarted the computer, reinstalled the games, patched up, tried installing ICW2.0 again, and unfortunately same error at the same point.

Technically the installer doesn't care where you put it, so having other mods wouldn't matter. You technically could install the mod to a Total War game and it'd extract, it just wouldn't do anything.





What's the filesize of your installer, James?

Installer size is: ICW2Installer = 1,528,222 KB

So 1.5gb. I downloaded it off the GameFront mirror as the moddb one didn't seem to like my getright downloader (tried downloading a few times through Chrome and each time the installer and zip file had invalid error messages...)

Is there a torrent version? I'm thinking it was a corrupted download again
