Since this is the recent trend, what do you think?
-
I think this trend needs to end. Especially with the obviously dead ones.
-
Windu is dead for sure.
-
Well, he only got his hands cut off and chucked off a mile high building,
he was a jedi master after all
-
plus shocked, he is dead
-
he could have landed on a moving speeder, or a shorter building, or somehow grabbed on to the buildings.
-
Although he is probably dead, if Star Wars were real he might have been able to survive, he is the second strongest master in the Clone Wars. They just dont need the character anymore.
-
He could come back and help Luke rule the Jedi Academy.
-
I think rule was a bad word choice there
-
Yes it was. He would be way too old.
-
i meant aid him in his rebuilding of the Jedi Order.
-
I meant i dont think the would call themselves rulers
he would probably take on the same role as ikrit did
-
dead dead dead and dead
-
Tis is stupid, who would say he wasnt dead.
-
You'd be surprised...
-
Do you, Arbiter?
-
If Boba Fett survived getting eaten, why cant Windu survive falling out a window?
-
windu was also electrocuted.
-
with only 1 hand and was surprised
-
He had who knows how long to get over his surprise, and he could probably block out the pain
-
he dead he dead he dead
-
He got his hand cut off, thrown out of a window, and was electrocuted by Palpatine. He's toast
-
Literaly,lol
But we still dont know
-
Well, if he is alive, he doesn't have his lightsaber.
-
or a hand
-
In theory, it would be possible for Mace to have survived, through the use of his Force powers.
Although as pointed out, he would be short of a hand and a lightsaber, the first could be rectified by having a cybernetic replacement (like Anakin), and the second by building a new lightsaber. The problem is that being a Jedi, his only source of finance would have been the Jedi bank accounts, which presumably Palpatine would have had frozen, thus leaving Mace with no money and no shelter (unless there were emergency funds/hideouts that were unknown to Palpatine, although this is highly unlikely).
Other points to consider if Mace did survive:
Why did he not respond to the Jedi signal beacon, and communicate with Yoda/Bail/Obi-Wan ?
What was he doing during the following 20 years while the Empire grew and asserted its authority across the galaxy ?
Why did he not join the Rebel Alliance (which was pro-jedi) ?
Overall, i am personally inclined to believe that the shock of Anakin's betrayal, losing his hand, and the effect of Palpatine's Force lightning rendered him unable to utilize his powers in order to save himself, and thus died when his body hit whichever 'ground' level was below.
-
he didnt listen to the jedi signal because he knew itd be suicide
and Quinlan Vos survived but nothing has been seen of him either
-
true true i think hes dead or just gavand maybe there was a balcony or a floor near like un the rots game
-
He died of a suprise induced heart attack or seizure (your choice). Nice post Slornie.
