Title: IR auto resolve and help with other factions

Hello, I need some advice to point me in the right direction, on the art of war gc map I am the IR and I am getting stomped, I try and do auto resolve but when I do i am beaten with the AI receiving little to no unit destruction XD. this happens on easy difficulty and to both the Eoth and the NR. Please give me advice on what to do, Oh and around week 2 both of the factions economy charts are like, at the top of where it can go ....How do they accomplish this or are the AI be gifted with cheats such as the ai in the total war series ?

Edit: Oh and in art of war as the IR I cannot built SSD's, how do I go about doing this ?

This is the case in essentially every strategy game, not just Total War, including the base EaW. Also, autoresolve heavily favours the AI as well, it has nothing to do with the factions involved.

Information on ship availability is in the manual, including necessary era and shipyard level.
