As she died in Sacrifice was she able to return as a force spirit?
-
Possibly, we wont know until theres an answer. Although i wish she would kill Jacen or ask someone to for some reason that she knows because shes a Force ghost
-
She ask Jaina, her one time apprentice, and she does it. Or then Jaina helps Boba Fett to kill Jacen as he killed Fetts daughter. It would be great to read how Boba outwits Jacen and kills him.
-
if only boba fett wasnt retired
-
He could come out of retirement to hunt down and kill jacen. The last bounty of Boba Fett.
-
Well, he's still around, maybe they will get all of the characters left over from the films together and have them assault Jacen, from which only a couple survive.
-
I don't think Lucas will accept that kind of an idea.
-
I think Jacen beats Fett any day. In RotJ Luke payed virtually no attention to him and he died. And Lucas would never agree to all those people dying. As i said before, hes no match for Luke alone. Not to say his twin and all those other people.
-
umm boba didnt die, he was just ingested, he got out later
-
Yep. And he managed to tie Lukes hands before being knocked out by a shot fired from Jabbas sail barge.
-
it would be cool if fett and a team of mandalorian warriors went to assasinate jacen
-
yep. Jacen would be so dead.
-
I figure the Boba Fett plotline is left for some reason, probably for the restored Mandalorians to take down the Jacen, the new Sith Lord. Whether the Skywalker/Solo clan wants, I figure the Alliance is going down yet again. Then we'll see a rise of the Sith again as shown in the Legacy comics.

im not gonna lie i was very sad when mara died. i had to stay away from this topic til i finished the book but now i can participate

The mandalorians stand no chance against any Jedi.
-
this mandalorian does points to avatar
-
Any non-jedi cant defeat any Jedi in a fight on the ground. Not even a squad of Mandalorians. Also, the order 66 seen was exaggerated. They would have sensed the emotions in the clones or what was about to happen.
-
tsk tsk yo under estimate me points to sig im the only jedi mandalor ps the mandos+boba+jetpack=dead jedi
-

How could the jedi sense emotions in the clones? They were just following orders. Perhaps the jedi thought that clones were following orders that jedi had given to them.
-
by gorge hes got it
-
What are trying to say?
-
Also there were alot of clones and the jedi didnt see them as a threat, even if they sensed it at the end there were too many too fast
-
Did not some of the clones feel remorse for killing them? Or how about fear of getting killed, they had seen what a Jedi can do?
-
Clones had no fear, but some journal by a member of the 501st wrote about wondering whether it was right to do it, but he just followed orders
And some clone commandos did refused to turn on the jedi
-
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand back to the topic before somebody comes and kills us all. Were DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!

Clones felt no emotion over the deaths of their Generals. Since they were just following orders, there was no emotion in the Force to warn the Jedi.
Also, there have been several instances where a Mandalorian has beaten a Jedi in combat. Jango Fett killed Coleman Trebor at the Battle of Geonosis, and also defeated several Jedi at the Battle of Galidraan, for instance. Then there were the Mandalorian Wars. Hundreds of Jedi fell to the Mandalorian warriors. Boba Fett supposedly defeated several Jedi in single combat and kept the lightsabers as trophies. The Jedi respected the Mandalorians for their fighting prowess, and rightfully so.
-
One of the instances where EU clashes with the movies. Luke defeated Boba reflexively (I mean that he instinctively deflected a blast right into him). That Jedi Jango killed on Geonosis was him taking a potshot from a long ways off.
-
On Geonosis Jango was 10 feet away on the balcony, he nailed the jedi and he fell off, it was in the movie
-
Yeah, it wasn't more than ten feet. And the Jedi blocked a few shots. Jedi Council member at that.
-
And Luke is a bad example, he is one of if not the best jedi
-
yep. one of the top ten in my opinion.
-
Id go with top 2
-
whos better? let me guess it's either Yoda or Anakin Skywalker.
-
The only reason i say Yoda is because he knew so much, power and such thoug id go Luke
-
wasn't Yoda the only jedi known to be able to resist force lightning?
-
probably, without a lightsaber anyway
-
yes I meant without lightsaber.
-
I dont know of anyone, Yoda could have been, although with thousands of years worth of jedi its kinda hard to say
-
Did not Luke "resist" it in ep. 6.
-
Thats a far cry from balling it up in your hands and dissipating it
-
Well you did say "resist". Anyways I beleive he could do it if he had no lightsaber handy.
-
I dont know, although his experience with the dark side would probably help him out
-
Yes, I think it is a matter of knowlege.
-
Thats Yodas advantage over Luke though, he knew a hell of alot
-
yep. he had had time to learn.
-
900 years to lear that the old bich you ask for advice
-
yeah thatll be interesting
-
But Luke was more open minded.
-
I think Yoda became more open monded after the Order 66 and GJP.
-

Why are you saying that?
-
And jacen was so arrogant to go to Mara's funeral. That just makes me angry. I hope he dies a horrible death.
-
Someone is a little touchy about Mara.
-
the second best character in SW gets killed by a idiot who thinks he can save the Galaxy by killing his family? of course I'm pissed off.
and wouldn't you be touchy if in the next book that same idiot would kill han or someone else from his family?
-
luke should use the froce to drop a star destroyer on him
-
I'm not sure he is that powerful.
-
Its just a star destroyer, sure he is
-
just a star destroyer?
-
Yeah, "size matters not"
-
For powerful the force is
-
Didnt he already move one?
-
If that pathetic apprentice of Vader's can crash a Star Destroyer i would have thought that Luke could.. although you need the disposition and desire for the action as well as the aptitude, neither of which i think Luke has..
-
You kidding? Luke owns
-
Yes but deep down he's still the "Farmboy" and doesnt kill or cause unneccesary destruction..
-
If he blew up a death star, he can move a star destroyer
-
1) Those are two completely different prospects - the Death Star was destroyed by a chain reaction from the proton torpedoes entering the exhaust port - using the Force to crash a Star Destroyer is nothing like it.
2) I didnt say he couldnt do it, i said he wouldnt do it..
-
I realize that, im saying if he would blow up over a million people, he would crash a star destroyer
-
I think what he is saying is that Luke doesnt crash Star Destroyers for fun.
By the way, why is Vader's Apprentice killing Imperials. His master is the Emperor's right hand man.
-
but he must remain a secret and no one who knows that he exists caan't be allowed to tell about it. or so it was said in wookiepedia if I remember right.
-
I realize that, im saying if he would blow up over a million people, he would crash a star destroyer
He was what? 20 when he destroyed the Death Star, and had barely begun his learnings of the Force.. All these years later with considerable experience, i dont think he would do it.
-
he wouldn't crash a SD. he would find a more subtle way to neutralize it.
-
In a war he would crash it. If it was just a spat he would just move it.
